Put all the negativity and hatred aside, tell me if you think Lorde will somewhat have a breakthrough in 2025, similar to Mitski's in 2023.

 

With her new era just around the corner due to her 4 year album cycle, which she claims to be a big return to her upbeat alt pop music with brand new producers, her non-singles doing better than ever before & in the era of TikTok where everything is possible, I personally think she will have a cute breakthrough.

 

There are constantly new hit tweets doing numbers on Twitter/X and other platforms, hinting at people's interest in her after more than a decade. Thoughts?

really depends on the music.

 

she had all the hype and viral tweets before the solar power, but the music just didn't click.

she's lucky people are still able to miss her music/built a cult fanbase, so she can have comebacks.

i can't believe she allowed herself another 4 years and didn't put out anything earlier. time flies 

her breakthrough was nearly 12 years ago…
