PP leading to a bit of a career resurgence (especially in the US) was all we couldve hoped for as Kylie fans but sustaining that momentum was always gonna be difficult. PP was boosted by being such a good viral hit which helped it be ubiquitous for the gays over pride month/summer. it really just hit at the right time I think this might've hit more if it was released beginning of summer but again i'm not sure we should be expecting another PP level hit from her i mean even Believe for Cher (one of the most iconic comebacks of all time) wasn't able to sustain success for her future singles Edited September 30 by Scandalous 3

Maybe they're playing the long game with this single. The album is out in under a month so they probs want the album to do just as well as the single 4
