It'll get a really healthy boost tomorrow (as seen in Saturday's update) due to New Music Friday exposure. This is such a bop and it's so addictive, I know it's not being pushed as a single but I do hope it catches a little bit of steam for her because I see this being a big club hit. 2
Kristie Kuwa Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Its 3 things for me: - the work in the hook (in the background) - her deliver on Ecstasy - her faking an Orgasm I think those 3 things will make me go back to the song a LOT of times

hallucinate Posted September 27 Posted September 27 i don't think this has much replay value for me but i love the song looking forward to the album 1
goldstargay Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I think this will be a strong album track, she is really going to give us such a gorgeous sonic experience - she has done a great job with just two singles of creating excitement and anticipation over what she's going to release next.
Kristie Kuwa Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Its coming for AOMD neck in terms of consumption for me. Im already at 80 listens and cant get enough 2
abra Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Yeah this has a lot more replay value than AOMD because of how smoothly it goes production-wise. I keep it on loop and don't even notice.
Danai G Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Ohhh, the replay value is really strong. Unpopular opinion: I like the spoken intro and outro 4
tbhmatt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Yeah this has insanely high replay value for me, perhaps even more so than AOMD (it's a close call between the two)
ratedreid Posted September 27 Posted September 27 David LaChapelle is directing the MV for this. Shooting 10/6-10/9.

Danai G Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Honestly, I am very happy that Jade did not release a follow-up single immediately after AOMD. The song was (and still is) very stable, if she had released Midnight Cowboy or Fantasy earlier, it wouldn't make much noise. Midnight Cowboy works perfectly for a promotional single, it's more accessible but still experimental, it will get the gp to talk about Jade again and it will give even more music to fans to consume until the next big single.

She deserves the Charli treatment - Tons of praise by critics until she truly smashes Shes just that good imho I really feel like she's going to continue growing organically and get bigger and bigger with every release. She's really capturing the attention of a lot of critics so far. I'm so excited for her, it must be amazing for her to be experiencing all of these exciting career "highs" and "firsts" again after doing it with the group for over a decade.
tbhmatt Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I can't get over the fact that she surprise dropped a promo single this good on a random Wednesday and was instantly featured in Rolling Stone (US and UK!!!), Billboard, Clash, Dork, The Hype Magazine, DIY Magazine, HuffPost UK, Paper, NME, Glitter.. Like, it's insane how much attention from publications and critics she's gaining. It's so thoroughly deserved, but it just feels a little surreal after years of feeling like Little Mix were (unfairly) never taken this seriously. I can't wait to watch her grow even bigger. 7
