I've been wanting to listen to her catalog for a long time. The songs I know from her were good. Balkanija is a bop

    She is not a nobody. She is a popular singer in the Balkans. The world doesn't revolve around America.

    I am not yet sure what to think tho. I only listened to it twice but i am not instantly feeling it like Balerina. Also the Nucci collab... :mazen::toofunny2:

    It looks like they messed up something. One day before the album release it went live on streaming platforms as a single. Not sure why it's not on the album now. A mess!

    After a few listens I can say this is her most cohesive body of work.

     

    Her first album had too many covers of Bulgarian songs that I was already familiar with, her second album begins with 3 mega smashes (Balerina, Bibi Habibi, Izrael i Palestina) followed by the rest of the album, songs that are also great but not as big as the first 3 smashes. 

     

    This album delivers so many genres and songs that make the album very pleasing to listen to. It has dance pop songs (Zbogom ljubavi, Baksis, Ola), great ballads (Naivcina, Ime mi je ljubav, Nek ti je srecno), typical turbo folk songs (Pozovi, Titanik, Vestica) and the Bulgarian/Romanian version of turbo-folk called chalga and manele with TEA, Pec, TeaNucci and Udri.

    I instantly loved both Balkanija and Balerina, there was a song or two on both i was "meh" about but no skips for me.

    Here i love first half of the album, but second half ("TeaNucci" and after) is not as strong imo. I love "Ime mi je ljubav" and i think that it would've been a great song to close the album but i can't get into songs like "TeaNucci", "Vestica", "Udri"... "Ola" is growing on me tho. But i still think that few songs on the album are fillers. She served quality AND variety but probably because album has 13 songs compared to 9 and 10 previously there are few i can't get into.

    ATE, ATE, ATE!! One of her best songs/videos so far tbh. This and "Tea" will be the biggest hits from the album me thinks.
