PartyFavor Posted April 17 Share Posted April 17 As a casual fan of her catalogue, this doesn't feel so different from 1989 vaults and midnights. Its good, but a little flat though out. For me, its the production of the songs that really makes it feel very in line with the other music she has been making lately. I don't think you need fo reinvent yourself every time you release music, but this does just feel like a continuation. I do wish she worked with new producers. Some notes: Most of the songs sound like they're for Midnights 2.0 Folklore/Evermore stans would love Who's Afraid of Little Old Me and I Can Fix Him I was hoping that the "Never made it clear, never made it right" was the real one. Unfortunately, it's not the case, and the Fortnight AI is better So Long, London sounds too fast for me. I just thought that since it's a track 5, it will have a slow, heart-wrenching beat. But TBH, this sounds like I could listen to this while running on a treadmill. LOL.
