I swear ATRL is allergic to giving Gaga any credit. You could start a thread saying Gaga influenced electropop trends on radio and the thread will be flooded with people talking about Madonna and arguing over how electronic music already existed. It wasn't "decades old" in 2008 and it was commonly used in the media by that point after originating around 1999/2000.
