The curacao vinyl from regular retailer I received today 1

It's always like that. For example Nintendo games are cheaper in physical than digital. Otherwise no one would have a reason to buy stuff in 3rd party retailers

I ordered the alternative cover just for the sake of different esthetic, dont need it necessarily on Friday, it is just weird. 1
