Very interesting to see Weyes Blood getting almost entirely ignored this year after her last era broke through into the general field and even won an ATRL Grammy for alternative music album. I think it's really hard for music that was released near the beginning of the eligibility period.

It's difficult to classify as one particular genre, but since there is no global/African category I put it in R&B because there's a lot of R&B/pop fusion on the album, also nominated it for AOTY
