yeah the concept is but the merch is definitely copied. op should just remove "copies eras tour concept" and just make it "copies previous taylor merch"

 Whether y’all like the merch or not or think it’s unique or generic or whatever, none of that changes the fact that the design is 100% plagiarized

I guess the big question is whether there are grounds for a lawsuit. Shakira's merchandise was created in the style of Taylor's merchandise, but she's not directly using any specific elements (an image of Taylor or her name). Nobody would confuse the two items for one another. 

 

Taylor's team is pretty active, so I guess we'll find out soon enough. lol

Labels do not own graphic tee printers. They can still use the same company for merch

Overall I personally don’t think Shakira or Taylor should involve themselves in any litigation surrounding this, but I also don’t want labels just blatantly stealing the designs of other artists that were commissioned to do something for someone else  Idk what I expect to happen next

yeah if we're talking about the crewneck specifically, it's an almost identical copycat.  they didn't even bother to use Shakira's own (similar) font.

 

I don't know if this is trademarked by Taylor Nation, can they send a cease and desist? it's Shakira's imagery so I'm not sure.

 

or could it be the same designer/artist that created both?
