    Tied as her best song with Unthinkable, You Don't Know My Name, and Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart. One of the smoothest R&B songs ever! :alexz:

    My grandma bought me this CD for Christmas when I was little.  Years later I sang “If I Ain’t Got You” at my voice recital- it was the first time I ever sang for an audience.  :heart:

    I always thought the live version was the album version and was disappointed when I heard the album version for the first time. The album version actually had to grow on me, due to how good the live version is. I love both now, and have for years. It's such a beautifully mellow song, and one of my favorites from her. :alexz3:

     

    The Diary of Alicia Keys is a really solid album, and incredibly nostalgic for me at this point. She was everywhere and inescapable during that time.

    Damn! Me too! After hearing the live video version on BET constantly, when I heard it on the album, it didn't feel the same, but I still loved it. 

    Such a great great song. she serves classics after classics in her 1st 4 albums

    the album really deserves the Grammy Album of the year back in 2005 over than Ray Char album that no one even remember
