Is Mariah the smartest legend?

Featured Replies

the way she never wastes a single opportunity and always tries to keep her music and herself relevant to the younger generation. What a hardworking legend! :jonnycat: Miss Janet should learn a thing or two :coffee2:

Mariah had vocal nodules ever since she was a child so it’s no surprise her voice deteriorated over time.

Anyway let’s stay on topic pls! :giraffe:

Yeah, no. It actually turned me off as a stan.

I grew up with her music but her recent performances have been lackluster and even on her albums her voice sounds different.

For someone who is a singer, she's not doing a good job these days.

She's the most business savvy, or at least she has one of the best team for that. But that doesn't necessarily makes one smarter.

not the arianators and riherpes stans talking vocals. anyway

yes, she is

Girl please, not even Celine who never had any vocal issues and was very careful with her voice to the point of not eating dairy can sing as she did when she was younger. Voices tend to lose power with age. You can still appreciate Mariah for her older stuff without being so picky.

We need a Up Out My Face EP next   I hate the cover for this though….

There’s very little she could do to fix that so what exactly do you want her to do? Stop making music all together? :rip:

Yes, intelligence and talent can remain musically relevant for over 30 years..

Mariah didn't take enough time between album. Unfortunately and ironically the music business killed her voice.

People always ask why Christina took so much time between album or why Adele does the same. Vocalists like these three ladies have to take time to rest their instruments because unlike other pop singers they actually use them. Gaga learned that lesson before it was too late. That's why her voice sounds great despite working nonstop on her first three albums.
