This tour's got maybe the worst setlist he's ever had. Almost totally ignoring his two most recent albums, beating the same Illuminate and Self-Titled songs to death. Please king, mix it up.

On The Road Again Tour is a combination of headlining festival shows and arena shows. So he just chose one setlist because he's obviously not gonna do two different shows.

The festival setlist caters to the GP with his biggest hits and most popular songs, and he's just using the same setlist because he's not gonna do 2 different shows lol. I think it's fine. I like the setlist, maybe he'll add 1-2 songs. But at least he is finally back on stage performing again.

Nah, I'm not gonna excuse him. Plenty of artists do expanded shows for their headline sets. Including him! He has more than one done a loner set for headlines when he has a mixture of headline and festival dates.

It's lazy. I'm happy to see him back on tour. I've seen him multiple times. I adore him. But I'm not going to make excuses for him dragging out the same tired songs with the same tired presentation over and over again.

He has shown many times he can do a condensed fest set and a more fleshed out headliner set on the same tour. It's not a matter of can't, it's a matter of won't.

i saw him in kraków and i couldn't believe he finished after in my blood, 17 songs, he just blew a kiss and disappeared... i was in disbelief, he didn't do when you're gone :weeps:  but the show was amazing, i've never seen people JUMPING on the opening song, i cried during there's nothing holding back :rip: (and ofc heart of gold, stitches, mercy, i've never been this emotional); he was smiling ear to ear, i loved seeing him happy, enjoying the show and FINALLY live after he canceled wonder tour in prague. :heart2:

there was an artist in front of the arena singing shawn's songs (and some 1D's) and after the concert! there was like 60 ppl, it was so cool hearing the songs like that, every concert should have that

Hot take: he should get rid of It'll Be Okay from the setlist and add Kesi or Summer of Love instead

Shawn Mendes' return to the stage felt less like just another pop concert, and more like a carefully orchestrated homecoming. He returned to the stage with the kind of charisma and energy that reminds you why he's been a pop powerhouse for over a decade. As an artist with so many hits under his belt, it was essential for him to give both new and old fans the show they deserve, and he did just that.
