kendoll2001 Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 It’s insane how BTS put Bang PD and HYBE in a position to be doing all this in one week

I mean this is a total mess Oh hell nawwwww. Kakao needs to back off. Most of my fave groups are under Hybe & SM. If this screw them up because of the takeover
Lost In Paradise Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 LSM RUSH RELEASE AESPA'S NEW TT TO SPOTIFY TONIGHT CHALLENGE seize the moment!!!

I really don’t understand this erasure of Seventeen vocalists when y’all talk about HYBE vocals. I mean I get it if you don’t know about them, but at least don’t make uninformed statements. 10 minutes ago, Companion said: I dont know what their company vision is for them (as if there were any) but they should ditch Korean lyrics and focus on building an international fanbase. i agree, a great example is XG rising globally with the english lyrics. So I can’t see why Blackswan can’t do it. They even have a bigger advantage since they have a multicultural lineup with Black, European, Indian and South American members. I mean the potential is big if handled properly.
fauxtography Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I cant at the "metaverse" idea anyways. Where is it? A metaverse actually needs execution, a place to host people, in VR. Where is that at?

mathekr Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I wonder how Karina feels to be label mates with BoTS now
Kirby Kirbs Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Hmm I wonder how much creative control HYBE will have over SM now. Also old SM staff/artists bumping into Min Heejin & ADOR will really be something

Does anyone really care about this apart from corny rich people and crypto bros? I'd get it if we had actually immersive VR technology, like Sword Art Online-style, but that's pretty much impossible (and it wouldn't be acessible to 99% of the world population). Why would I care about some virtual idol when I could just go to a real concert?
Cheers Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 It's really over for SM oh wow RIP Red Velvet, arepa, NCT and whoever else is still on that roster

Leveraging our capabilities..." "and resources, HYBE will further strengthen the presence of K-pop in the global stage." -Mr. Bang HYBE adds they will "focus on improving SM Entertainment's corporate governance"
Rhyme Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Quote Chairman Bang Si-hyuk has expressed mutual respect with former executive producer LSM to the point of commenting, “HYBE only walked on flowery paths because of the red carpet that senior (Lee Soo-man) pioneered and paved” BTS stans are gonna hate reading this

IVE and maybe IU might be the next casualties of Kpop Game of Thrones (Kakao vs Hybe) Sidenote which other groups are under Kakao currently? I can think of Apink, and The Boyz. JYP are kinda save from the Kakao vs Hybe mess for now but we never know what's gonna happen next. JYP being bff with Bang PD due to the past history working together at JYPE and especially appeared on the same pic earlier this year it seems like there's something going on bts between Hybe and JYP as well.
