Even though this song is still a little underwhelming for me, she deserves this so much :clap3: I'm really excited for this album.

Her catalogue (particularly PH) is getting bigger increases each day because of this :jonny4: she's serving Taylor

Her potential is finally being realized by the GP again. WE HERE. WE BACK.

That would be great, but it looks like stans are focused on making a connection between Midnight Sky and Flowers, several videos about it are popping up on Tik Tok now. This one has over 800k likes: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMYJe6exM/

Midnight Sky is even re-charting in some markets already.

You know what GOOD. Midnight Sky deserves to be recognized and I hope this helps it go top 10 at least.

2023 will really be her year

she's old enough to be relatable to people in their 30s and 40s, yet young & bold enough to connect with gen z and young millenials. and the song achieves that, it screams retro but has that modern vibe & aesthetic appeal. all while telling an ageless personal story. brilliant.

I really feel like this will be her break my soul - not the best or the catchiest or the biggest record, but a perfect sum up or trailer if you will of what to expect in this era thematically.

She has one of the most interesting and unique career trajectories of all time :rip:

The fact that she never had a fixed artistic persona and randomly switches every era is part of that uniqueness tbh

I still can’t over how astronomically good those Spotify numbers are. To put in in to context, the only song that pulled in bigger numbers on a Sunday for the ENTIRETY of 2022 was Mariah’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ on Christmas Day.

If you exclude that song from the list, not a single song pulled in bigger streams on Sunday at any point last year, the next closest was Taylor’s Anti-Hero which did 10.7m on Oct 23.

Miley did 6.2m more streams than the #1 song on Spotify Global this time last year (abcdefu by GAYLE) - that’s an increase of 164% year on year for the top song on Global Spotify. And I haven’t even looked at how much Shakira pulling in 10m in #2 would have boosted Spotify’s YOY streaming growth. Those are insane increases and Spotify execs will be very happy, lol.

Is it delusional to think this song smashing could help album debut as low as in 150k and as high as 300k? :jonnycat:

I love Miley so I’d love for this to come back to blow up in my face, but I think we should set our hopes around 100-120k considering the numbers YN & Plastic Hearts pulled :bird:
