So guys, after you listen to the album, do you think she should be proud of this one? Is it a lie she said it's one of her best?

I think it needs a few more listens, but she can definitely be proud of it. Is it her best? I don't think so. The good thing about the album is that the lows are not super low but the highs are not totally high either (that will probably change as the days go by). It finds a nice mellow middle ground and it's a wonderful album.

The highs of this album are SO high, like Trustfall, Runaway, Hate Me, Feel Something, Last Call, even NGNDA

Like I said: It's a wonderful album! Her voice is fantastic (we been knew sis) and the production is superb. The great thing is and as you can see in this thread: there's something for everyone but there's not one song that is hated outright like maybe on previous albums.

NGNDA would like to address this issue :chick3:

Honestly, I didn't even mind NGNDA in the context of the entire album when I listened to it from start to finish.

Love that! I can’t wait to listen to the whole thing :jonnycat:

My previous guess what that probably NGNDA would be a little light moment amongst the more serious ones

This is all just my opinion, but it ties in all right with the theme of Kids in Love and then goes over to an 80s aerobics tune with Runaway. The album is not super serious TBH there are never super heavy themes, so it all flows nicely enough.

IMO NGNDA doesn't fit the album at all. It's a very mature album, lyrically, so "pop and lock to my records" and "d-d-dance BRUH" is kinda jarring in that context. Also, it's the only glittery song on the album; the other uptempos like TRUSTFALL, Hate Me & Runaway are darker & more subdued.

NGNDA will always have my love.:heart2:

Is When I Get There the most underwhelming track on the album? Or does it feel like that because we got it earlier?

I loved every single song on the album. I think it’s an absolute masterpiece.

also whoever said turbulence sounds like we’re good by dua lipa hasn’t heard we’re good by dua lipa

I am honestly not big on Our Song... But it will probably grow on me.

Our song is amazing!!

Trying to listen to NGNDA is so hard after all the gems lol

I don’t have a favourite, but I felt my body doing crazy things during last call and hate me. Lost cause sent me, and our song was wonderful. Just say I’m sorry was absolutely gorgeous. Turbulence was a wonderful surprise because it had been talked down, a great song. The 2 collabs at start of album were both great. Long way to go was really chilling, and kids in love sounds very first aid kit which was cool for pink. That’s all I remember off the top of my head. But genuinely loved everything.

She fed us this album. A worthy addition to her discography. Love this so much

Trustfall

Last Call

Feel Something

… are the holy trinity. :gaycatina1:

It's so nice to read all this positive comments!:heart2:  Can't wait to listen to it!
