The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards took place on Monday, September 12th, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. It was broadcasted live on NBC & and livestreamed on Peacock. The Creative Arts ceremonies, where most of the categories were presented, occurred on Saturday & Sunday, September 3rd & 4th. An edited version aired on FXX on September 10th. The nominations were announced on July 12th while winners in some juried categories were announced on August 11th. The eligibility period was June 1st, 2021 - May 31st, 2022. Kenan Thompson hosted the ceremony.

 

With 25 total nominations, HBO's Succession (season 3) was this year's most nominated program while HBO/HBO Max was the most nominated network with 140. The White Lotus was the biggest winner of the 74th Primetime Emmys, winning 10 awards throughout the Creative Arts and televised ceremonies.
