Blue Weekend is a masterpiece, and as much as I love Taylor, I don’t think she has the vocal capacities to deliver anything like that. Not even an Ultraviolence kind of record.

 

She shines the most in the folklore and evermore sound, but releasing another album like those would be tiring at this point.

The way this would exactly be the "NEW" sound and challenge they're wanting from her, but instead they are content settling with the same old thesaurus'd, woodsy songs we've been getting for the past two albums + two sets of vault tracks...

 

She can always give us something better than 1989, RePUTA and Lover. She did give us something better than Red in the end, so...
