A neo-classical queen who was signed in the 80s to Warner's only because the head of the label at that time was a fan of her first album which was a soundtrack album. As shown above, she basically has no label restrictions and no deadlines. She's only released 8 studio albums since 1985 which have sold a collective 70 million copies, all with basically close to zero promo and no tours or concerts, only two major hits, all whilst living in her castle in Ireland, known to many even there to be reclusive and very private. No one will be able to do it like her

I've noticed that some people on here try to pull a "I never heard of her, flop!" but that doesn't make Enya look bad - that makes those people look bad

Enya basically invented power

She had some of the most unprecedented freedom for a woman on a major label and is one of the most successful females of all time with virtually no promotion 

 

I'm sure the label doesn't mind either; she is basically minimal cost with maximum reward
