I really hope this new song captures my attention. 

 

The EP was kinda underwhelming to me, it felt like a lifeless Caroline Polachek rehash.

This is my issue with Hyd every single time. 

 

I like her music because every song feel like a Caroline leftover. She has no musical identity. 

 

I would be fine if the songs are good as Caroline releases, but they feel like outtakes. 

I love Afar, I'm so glad it finally got released.

 

It's like an Ocean of Tears cousin, where OoT is about time, Afar is about space.

 

Caroline should allow herself to self-produce and also to do more music for others
