We all know the producers won't let that happen. Intentionally self-produced villain is like coke to them now. That just means less work for both the editors AND the writer since they don't have to force some mild conflicts for storylines. I can see her having several passes out of the bottoms like Mistress last year.

I feel so bad for saying it but the second batch of queens was... not really giving? I love the queens but Hershii, Mhiya, Geneva, Megami, Jane even Plasma was giving filler queen for me, I cannot BELIEVE Hershii did her routine with that UPS truck diver look and wtf was Mhiya wearing in that runway? Jane is truly a basic *****, she studied Katya, Jimbo and Willam and said let's go to drag race and stirr some ****. There's zero oiginality there. And even without a comparison to other queens what is she bringing that's new to the table? IDK I only see one true star in that batch and it's Nymphia.

Her talent show was a non-event. She can't walk in heels. She had to throw a tantrum to get out of a bottom 2 lipsync. Everybody that was there except production and Ru acknowledges Jaxxx DESTROYED her in the Tell it To My Heart lipsync.

 

 

She can read a girl that she knows won't read back, though?

She's in it for the foolery if that makes sense. She's skilled for sure but her memorable moments from the show were her interactions with the cast, not anything she presented in a challenge or a lipsync. For example, her youtube content entertained me more than anything she presented on the show bc the main focus wasn't the drag so that says something to me.

She and Eureka have been compared a lot in the past bc their drag and mug are similar but give them the same challenge and Eureka will absolutely stomp on her.

who cares if jane plane is talented or not or if shes the "real deal" about her shadiness... it's been 16 years of drag race and production ruins the competition element of it all the time. give me good untuckeds, funny moments, iconic looks and ill be happy. idgaf about who wins what and why would you? we dont get dividends from those 200k anyway

Honestly, any queen of any race would get hate if they walked in like Plain Jane did. But she will have it easier in the end because she is white. The fanbase will either grow to love her by the end of the season or not but she'll be fine professionally regardless lbr.

 

I personally live for her antics but yeah in 2024 you can't go on Drag Race acting that rotted without being dragged lol.
