I mean you saw my SOBER breakdown from the day before yesterday regarding the absolute tragedy that has befallen the good sister Look, I don't think either of us is coherent enough (I've dipped into a nice Beaujolais my parents had to go with my kung pao chicken - highly recommended combination) to truly outline in this moment how exactly it is that Christpane Problems is both appreciated as an excellent musical composition, and simultaneously under appreciated for JUST how excellent it is? Like, snaps for the girls for putting it in their top 30, but where is the top 10 placement? I understand that there are like 40 songs competing for a slot and not everyone gets to win, but why aren't we rotating Champagne Problems in every once in a while? What's up with that?

 

Oh and exactly exactly, we can whip up a batch of the Tumblr chai cookies and blast Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection and bemoan just how misunderstood it truly is because what do you mean "so here's to the birthday boy who saved our lives" isn't one of Taylor's most iconic and recognizable lyrics? It's truly just as good as any other classic part of her songwriting canon, and yet it gets treated like dirt.

As you should very well know from my ferally horny demeanor, I'm diabolically single at the moment fjlksdf

 

and thus traveled to spend Christmas with my family, but my mom left for Bangkok a few hours ago (which was a trip I didn't know about until like two days ago because sure... why not tell anyone that you're leaving the continent for almost a month?), my brother is with his gf in ******* Miami, and my dad is in the midst of getting decimated by food poisoning from a suspicious chopped romaine salad from the local pizza place the night before last, so I can't say I've felt particularly festive

 

So while I'm not drunk yet, once my caretaker duties are done for the night, I'm going to do some damage to his fancy whiskey in recompense for my services, and then I'll probably run on here and pick more fights with the THOTS, and I'll probably craft some gargantuan essay that no one will read that will outline just how much love and appreciation I have for the good Swiffers of ATRL, but that will have to wait a few hours
