I'd assume the Smurf songs would have had to be done before they started animating and it's coming out in Feb so I doubt it's for the movie. 

 

Possibly for the Smurf soundtrack, but I think this has to be for R9 or for a feature. Given Rih's history she could record it in a week if she has all the songs picked out already

Yeah and it looks like a studio for mixing/post-production specifically, I feel like the songs are already recorded and they're now at the mixing stage

 

She's co-producing the film and soundtrack so she's likely more involved in this than she was for Black Panther
