I'm really curious what the sound for the OR2 lead is going to be.  I agree with @Luckitty that the pop rock trend is kinda fading + she's already kinda done that.  I wonder if the label is pushing ballad because those are her biggest songs + its about to be winter. 

one thing about olivia is she loves to switch up her sound  all of the sour singles sound different from each other, so OR2 could be something totally unexpected

 

i think it's most likely gonna be a mix of happy & sad songs, she said that she's much happier than she was when she made sour but she also went through 2(?) breakups while making the album (i hope she wrote a song dragging adam for cheating on her on new years eve )

 

I can't wait to hear what the album is gonna sound like, i think the most obvious genre she hasn't done yet is POP pop (pure pop, no ballads or pop-rock) and we know she loves pop music so it's totally possible

I can confirm it's January they're aiming for. Interscope seems to love Q1 for her.
