If next time Adam Driver stars in a Disney live action remake as the male protagonist, people won't go thinking ''Adam delivered multiple flops so I won't go to see the story I love as a child.'' Well, it's bad because the US flopped. If the US kept the 50-60M projection, it would've been pretty strong and aligned to other global markets. With that said, I'm not defending it and we can probably expect it to have a catastrophic plunge next weekend.

But even then, actors and actresses have panned projects across the board and when they return to their next project, people are focused on the reception of that singular movie. It's much less like the music industry where people are bringing your last project forward into the next. For example, we can even look at the interviews. No one asks her about HoG during the JFAD press tour, because it's irrelevant. 6
