Bhabylon Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Enough time has passed. The FAD version of that mountain song is better than the Harlequin one I fear 3
Namiskine Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I came accross a post from some Hive member trying to shade Harlequin's numbers with The Gift and it made me want to post a reminder in here to everyone still melting down and thinking Gaga has no fans left. Harlequin is a 13 tracks solo album with only 2 original songs, including one not even featured in the movie. It was released 1 week before the film and sold 16k in pure sales. The Gift includes 14 original tracks and 13 interludes. It features Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, Major Lazer and a lot more collaborators. The album was released on the same day as the movie. Spirit, the single that is featured in the film and also including in its soundtrack, was released 9 days prior and had a music video. It sold 11k in pure sales. This is not intended as a shade to anyone. Just a friendly reminder to some people in here that those are side projects that do not represent AT ALL their corresponding artists' fanbases size. 5 2
HausOfPunk Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Finally listening to Harlequin as a palate cleanser. Was Good Morning even in the movie? I can't remember
Popular Post Bhabylon Posted October 5 Popular Post Posted October 5 Idk every time OGH try to have a "gotcha!" moment, I just scroll through their profile and can tell they have severe mental illness. Then any annoyance I ever had disappears 2 2 19

HausOfPunk Posted October 5 Posted October 5 That's Life being the final song on Harlequin is perfect considering how hard the movie is flopping... ugh her mind! I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet A pawn and a queen I've been up and down and over and out But I know one thing Each time I find myself flat on my face I pick myself up and get back in the race 7

JackOfHearts Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I feel very much in limbo on ATRL for the time being. I haven't had a chance to see Joker 2 yet, probably won't till next week some time, so I can't even speak to… anything regarding that. I found 3 songs on Harlequin I don't mind, enough to download them anyways. And every thread is just… swarming with nasty sh*tty haters with what seems to be very personal vendettas against Gaga 😂 I didn't realize she shat in so many people's birthday cakes and slapped so many of their children.
David_Greengrass97 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Why does ATRL have a lot of OGHs, it's such a scary place 🫠😨

Don't worry about them. They are just like a rat! Jumping around in the corner looking for a food. Very jealous! 1
Artur Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I don't really mind the haters. It's always the same 10 user circle jerking. 6

justin. Posted October 5 Posted October 5 1 hour ago, BlondUnicorn said: Harlequin on Metacritic 73 (+3) Deserved! I've loved it since release, but it's even better after seeing the movie. Such a perfect autumn album too. 1
Extinctkid Posted October 5 Posted October 5 How did this film cost 200 Million to make though? I just don't see it.
GipJo Posted October 5 Posted October 5 After carefully listening to Harlequin for a week I have to say if these are all original songs with these productions it would be her most critically acclaimed album. Maybe liddos aren't ready for this conversation.

babyforlife Posted October 5 Posted October 5 yup after seeing the movie, the $200M budget makes no sense
Jack! Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I thought the $200M budget was fanfic after a Variety article or something?
