Imagine being told Joker is probably gonna be one of the biggest underperformances of the year but that Gaga was also going to have the biggest song of the year at the same time lol and that the LG7 lead was coming in the same one month window along with a jazz album

It was actually really smart of her to kick of LG7 right after JFAD. People have goldfish brains nowadays and will immediately move on to LG7, especially since she's one of the most commonly-noted highlights of the movie.

 

Also, it's great she already has an Oscar because imagine if she was hinging her Oscar chances with this project dddd.

The movie will do fine commercially. Joker was a monster hit the world over and was a major cultural phenomenon in Latin America and India, two huge markets. I'm sure most people will check out the sequel, especially in India. And fortunately China seems to be also planning on screening it so I think we're safe on that front.

 

The quality of the work however is lacking and Todd needs to at the very least serve jail time for this.

On to the next project, hopefully this time with a director who actually knows what they're doing.
