It came up because the album is coming out in August, and a lead single being released two whole months before is a bit unusual in 2024. (See what happened to Dua Lipa.) I'm hoping for next week tho Dua released Houdini like 5 months before Radical Optimism. Releasing the lead 2 months before the album is pretty reasonable, especially if they do multiple pre-release singles (which they should because post-release singles are d.o.a. on streaming era). Gaga will also be in Joker mode shortly after dropping the album. 2

SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted June 2 Posted June 2 (edited) The perfect (realistic) roll-out for LG7: 1st single: next week or the one after. 2nd single: mid-july. 3rd single: mv drop with the album august. 4th mv a few months later with tour announcement/start, as a g.u.y/911 gift for the fans teas. frankvert Posted June 2 Posted June 2 As a US based Apple Music user, I've already decided I'm NOT going to add LG7 lead single or album to my library so streams actually count towards the charts. Forgoing my Last.fm integrity for Gaga's benefit, you can call me a martyr 1 4

I think the rumor about June 21st came up also because many of us believe they're gonna use the pre-covid release strategy that was supposed to happen with Chromatica. But I don't think it's unreasonable, I would actually prefer your scenario 1

Canonical Ensembl Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I have a feeling that "dance in the shadow" song sounds too campy to be a Woodkid work, but well, a surprise is welcome.
