Heldenzeit Posted April 3 Posted April 3 It's not that we forgot, we just still haven't watched HoG 3 2
AllyGayTor Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Ridley really had a camp classic in the palm of his hands and look what we got
hausofbryan Posted April 3 Posted April 3 HOG was great. It was a perfect post-pandemic return to the movies for me and my friends. Yall are just hating since a bigger commercial hit is upon the sis. 1

H34rtOfCharcoal Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Although I do find it interesting that majority of Twitter "insiders" have switched to Gaga for April. But they will probably delete those tweets on May 1st 3
Aden Posted April 3 Posted April 3 House of Gucci was a fun movie theater experience but it's definitely the ARTPOP of her filmography. 1

Filming during extreme lockdown procedures in Italy had to be very complex and he rushed the editing process to get the film out before the end of the year. At least HoG showed that Gaga is a serious actress and that ASIB wasn't a fluke 3 1

I bow down a pray that we stop paying attention to them 1

Gaga herself could tweet that LG7 is coming in April and I'd still have hesitations. 1 3
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Gaga devoured in HoG even though it wasn't a great movie. It was great for her acting career but interestingly that doesn't seem to be the gp perspective at all. It'll make the narrative for J:FAD even stronger if she does great it in it though.
Dad Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Lets be real, HOG would have been a straight to tv movie on one of those drama channels your mom watches if Gaga would not have been in it. She is the only redeeming thing in that telenovela. It is shocking how it managed to gross so much 1
Infernal Paradise Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Since they're wearing the same dresses and it's the same pose but a different angle, the left scene is likely what's happening in reality as they're waltzing through the dimly-lit cell while the right is what's happening in their delusional minds which explains the extravagant set in an Old Hollywood B/W setting. Both these scenarios will play out simultaneously using intercut scenes where we switch back and forth after every few lines of the background song verse/chorus/bridge, thus perfectly demonstrating the folie à deux. And if we get a glimpse of this in the teaser? Oh ****. Yeah, Godd might have cooked. We ain't ready. 3
bigboyzeddy Posted April 3 Posted April 3 house of gucci started of so great! the atmosphere, the dating, it was so fun, then all of a sudden it cuts to a year later with a baby, (we lose all those fun clubbing scenes in the trailer) and keeps jumping years ahead without anything to actually show you it's doing it, then all of a sudden Maurizio is acting like a prick, then we get 20-30 mins of boring side characters signing paperwork and then patrizia is like paying for a hit already?? and non of this is talked about, nothing major is shown in terms of that relationship breaking down like it did... and then it ends... it could have gone so much better if a director that knew how to mix camp and drama took on the project.. i like the first half, not the second half, other than the final scene cause it's kinda iconic with the music but thats it 5
Miracle Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Gaga's House of Gucci is her best acting performance and she should have been nominated for serving old Hollywood kind of acting without being a charicature of that time. She should have even won, definitely over the mess that was Jessica Chastain's "transformative" thing 3

Still, Gaga was robbed in daylight

Plus she has been acting for a while and overlooked. Nominated 3 times and finally won for Eyes of Tammy Faye.
