Daglazzo Posted March 27 Posted March 27 2 minutes ago, Sombre said: If she really is still working hard on LG7, then the earliest she could turn it in is, what, tomorrow? Then 3 months waiting for vinyl pressing, so earliest release date would be July. But if she's still "working hard" then I assume the earliest she'd turn it in is May, which would mean a release in August. The Venice Festival starts in early September this year. 2025 here we go Yes and during that time, while waiting for the vinyl, she could announce the lead single. Cause anyway the album would be coming 3 months later after the first single, right? SL came out at the end of February, the album was supposed to be released in April (she moved it to May due to pandemic restrictions or sth) so it was like originally 2 months? And I'm pretty sure, like pretty PRETTY sure chromatica was not done when SL was released and the fans were waiting for the SL vinyl so long, because it took time to press them I guess, not to mention the album itself when I think people didn't receive it on premiere as well. But I might be wrong with this one. Anyways, she may be still working on album but my point is that the lead single can come very soon.
TrymeB Posted March 27 Posted March 27 While the girls here are focused on LG7, I am going to focus on J:FaD for the rest of 2024 which, so far, promises to be a major shining moment for Gaga's career.

Maybe because most people are actually here for her music first of all ? So yeah not big surprise her fans care more about her next album than next movie. 7
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Yeah, I was so sure of 2024 when she started teasing in January, but now I feel like it could go either way (2024 or 2025). Thankfully I'm still excited for J: FAD but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be pretty disappointed if we have no new era this year after all this teasing. I don't think her comments in the Sephora Live mean anything, though; the most we would get out of an event like that was going to be a vague answer; it's clear Gaga doesn't like to mix things and when she did the last one pre-Chromatica era everyone had the same reaction because of her vague answers, saying the album was not coming anytime soon, when in fact it was just a couple of months away. 3
Julio Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Just now, Julio said: chromatica ball film announcement tomorrow do you see the vision?
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I do think it's true that she said that she is working hard on the album/era. I don't think she would have missed the Haus Labs launch in Europe otherwise.
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted March 27 Posted March 27 (edited) Continuing the DoC convo... Alice remix is a travesty, the way it sucks the life out of the original song with that soulless fart-sounding instrumental. It was the work of an OGH I fear. Everything else is good to great imo. 911 is a smash, Replay is a smash, Plastic Doll is a smash. Free Woman and Babylon are good and Rain on Me and 1000 Doves are underappreciated gems. Sine From Above is so bad it's good again (unlike the OG which is just...bad). Edited March 27 by SweetOreosOfHeaven 1
Infernal Paradise Posted March 27 Posted March 27 As for the future, Bennett says he's working on an exhibit of his father's art and other legacy projects. Later this year, Paramount Plus will finally premiere The Lady and the Legend, a documentary about Bennett's friendship with Gaga that's been in the works for several years. Source A release coinciding with C2C's 10th anniversary in Sep would be cute 2

A potential reason for the delay could have been the catalog acquisition that happened recently. Until the deal was made, the release was very likely withheld. Quote Iconoclast founder Olivier Chastan, along with Bennett's son and manager Danny Bennett, said the company has secured several Tony Bennett-branded projects, including... a Paramount+ documentary called The Lady and The Legend, about Bennett's frequent collaborations with Lady Gaga. https://billboard.com/business/business-news/iconoclast-buys-tony-bennett-catalog-1235636262/ Still a mess but there's definitely a much higher chance that it gets released now.
Aden Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Moving forward instead of studio selfies, I'd prefer if she posted more about what she's studying for creativity. Like when she posted excerpts from 'In Pursuit of Revolutionary Love" by Joy James. It's really interesting to see what's occupying her mind. It also wouldn't set the expectation that new material was on the horizon like her studio selfies have done. 2
Daglazzo Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Ahh finally all of those "Gaga on Beyoncé album" screamers can stfu also, screw Mr. S
