Only the fans would know it’s ARTPOP volume 2, but for the GP it would be something new. That way everyone is happy!
Bhabylon Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 It’s so funny to watch this nowadays, because in the Nurtec ad you can still tell she’s reading off of a script
JaXXXon Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 I just posted my four first posts ever on ATRL and even though all four were about different topics, I somehow got the word "Gaga" into every single one of them so I think I might belong here lol 3 1

I hope we get a continuation of ARTPOP with more updated production and a new title so it doesn’t flop with the GP But ARTPOP flopped with the GP and practically ruined her career. Rehashing the past has never and will never work. 23 hours ago, babyboy1 said: What exactly is she doing nowadays? ugh we need atleast something the JFAD shoot was over months ago so what exactly is she doing with all the free time she has in her hands? Better be writing songs for her next studio album She just finished a record-breaking residency in Vegas, like, a week ago. You guys are like newborns without object permanence. You think because she does not spoon-fed you everything she does that it must mean she is not doing anything. --- On a more negative note: Madonna just ended the first show of her new tour and there is already professional (including editing) footage online. Will never forgive Gar for dropping the Chrome film. 1
Aston Martin Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Bloody Mary did 561,049 streams on Friday (26k+ from last Friday). Still seems like it's strongest on weekends, and if it grows by the same percentage as it did WOW this Friday, then it should be around 590,000 daily streams next Friday. 3

Rehashing the past has never and will never work. The album itself didn’t ruin her career, but the circumstances around it did. Katy Perry was capitalising from taking down Gaga, and a bad start to an era can be its end. Her ego was too badly hurt to follow through with her managements plan, so she fired them. Katy really did THAT much damage. ARTPOP was only her third album and it was crucial to get it right in her prime. And Gaga hasn’t been the same since - all her eras have been messy with cheap visuals and bad single choices. She has lost her business flare and team effort. Real magic happened with the Haus of Gaga, Laureanne etc, as all successful eras are the work of a team not just the artist. Katy is a team player and never lost her professionals which is why she always delivers visually, even if she’s not as successful. Gaga just wants to do things herself now, like this Chromatica film that she seems to have given up on too. She has become an artist with ideas, without the team of professionals to execute them. Happylittlepunk Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Artpop commercially wasn’t actually that terrible of you really think about it. However, the problem was Gaga simply lost narrative she had since the debut of her career. 2
DonnieDarko Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Madonna’s tour footage will be out on streaming faster than Godga’s mysterious TCB. Stefani’s team is truly something else. 3 1

GGD Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 She should've filmed the tour at a venue that has 2 dates. I fear that part of the delay was the LA Show had a lot of shots that weren't good enough to publish. the dates in London were almost perfect. The only setback for that was it didn't get dark until the show was already halfway through. The Japanese dates were another good candidate because it was in a covered venue. However, it would've been better if it had a bigger audience capacity Ie. Japan National Stadium Belluna Dome was such a random choice because it wasn't even in Tokyo, It was in Saitama.

Ditto for MR HMH is 1 year old, entered its recurrent phase recently, and is doing worse than ROM around this time in its run and in comparison to hits from last year. ROM and MR pulling those numbers is way different from HMH pulling those numbers. ROM streams are horrid for a song that went top 10 in over 30 counties Sis their all recurrent songs, HMH is coming up to 18 months old - and for a solo Gaga song in the streaming era with 20m playlisting it’s doing what a Gaga song would do. It’s not gonna collapse suddenly, worse case scenario it’ll do 160k -200k in the future and 100k on YT. I expect the harshness from the base cause if it was something they liked it would be getting outstreamed by Katy perrys last release like her other pop stuff in the streaming era and we’d never hear the end of the ‘promo’ argument 2 1
sunbathinganimal Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 ARTPOP was a bigger bomb than Chromatica in the context of where her career was at before each of them 4
