Freaky Prince Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Cant wait for the 10th anniversary to come so all this act 2 buffoonery comes to an end
Leptine Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 'Applause' truly remains one of her best song and video, a masterpiece. 3 1
Sombre Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 ARTPOP is not that good to warrant a revisit 10 years later. Sure, Gaga got trashed a lot during the era but this isn't a good enough excuse to make all this fuss for an act two. Let's move on to bigger and better things, like LG7 and Joker 2. 1

Aden Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 The only Gaga cult I'm a part of is COC Cult of Chromatica 1

Joanne deserves a revisit because it literally saved her career to an extent. Artpop almost killed it. Evil albums do not deserve recognition. 1 1

mrpartyrocker Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Do y’all think we can get the new album before joker? Something tells me we won’t and she won’t release it around the same time as Joker as it would be too much conflict of interest which only means we won’t get a new album until probably 2025
Marry The Gods Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 It's been 12 years since this karen encounter The shrills, the screams, her demanding Gaga and a fan to re-take the picture because she didn't like the way it came out Her badgering Gaga and telling her we waited 12 hours Actual photo of 12 hour girl calling LiveNation to report Gaga for being one minute late on stage at the TCB when her ticket said 8:00 not 8:01.

(one of Gaga's absolute worst songs in history)? Why Did You Do That is pretty much on the level of Britney's Mind Your Business. It's supposed to be a bad pop song. It's so shocking to me, Hair Body Face is an amazing song. I remember it was the first one to leak in HQ from the soundtrack and people were living for her angelic vocals! But WDYDT probably does better because it's actually featured in the movie and has a performance while HBF only faintly plays in the background for 10 seconds.
little legend Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Poker Face stomping on Bad Romance on Spotify Proving once again that is the biggest hit of Gaga's career 1

Joanne was her first major sonic shift outside of jazz. Put some respect on her name.
Komet Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Quranne is aging like a fine Cabernet, the homo'd oontz-oontz albums can't relate

I don’t see Joanne being this local album that liddos keep going on about ARTPOP, Joanne, Chromatica are all similar WW. Joanne was what she needed to do to survive the streaming era and setup ASIB and her reputation 1

Bradley Cooper literally wanted Joanne material for ASIB so no, it wouldn't have happened without Joanne. And in what Gaga lost with limp-wristed cigs who live vicariously through chartdata updates, she gained in an expanded and more diverse audience. 2 1

Well, this new diverse audience is not streaming her music. She’s currently doing Katy Perry numbers on Spotify.
Bhabylon Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I like Joanna but i will say, it would’ve been cute if GodGa surprise dropped an EP of pop bawps during Coachella
EnigmaticAndroid Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Joanne setup important moments in her career (ASIB and the Superbowl) and was a necessary shift in image at the time. It's still her least successful and remembered studio album. You could probably say least acclaimed too since Artpop has had a legitimate reappraisal. She was an important flop. 3
