That's so messed up, the symbolism, her mind it amazes me etc Don't know what the exact take is, but as someone who's going through depression I see this scene as an accurate depiction of how it feels: the Gaga on top is the depressive self. Chained, stuck in preventing the lively former self (the one on the floor) to take over. The one with the hat is the observing mind, detached from the conflict between the other two. But jokes aside, she clearly changed her plans fashion-wise since Nicola wasn't involved during for Disease, and it seems she switched up a bit of the team—though Sarah and Freddy are obviously still there. Yeah well I hope they bring him back for the album photoshoot or mag spread even if it's just once. He has such a fresh and futuristic perspective on materials and textures and his style fits Gaga's fashion sensibilities so well. 1

This is like the best way I've seen it summed up so far. It's a brilliant scene on so many levels. 3

Let's hope DWAS continues to fly up radio so it becomes untouchable like ABS

SixWholeYears Posted Sunday at 03:55 PM Posted Sunday at 03:55 PM You guys worrying about an album being "cohesive" that hasn't come out yet. Just enjoy the amazing songs we're getting and relax. It's so funny people coming up with essays 2 2
Devin Posted Sunday at 04:16 PM Posted Sunday at 04:16 PM doubt this album will be cohesive at all lol.
Colmillo Posted Sunday at 04:18 PM Posted Sunday at 04:18 PM As long as the album is good I don't give a fawk about cohesiveness tbh 2 1
Edonis Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Why does it feel like this thread regressed overnight?
killer_rose Posted Sunday at 04:25 PM Posted Sunday at 04:25 PM The way I give zero fucks about the cohesiveness of the album. I want top tier songs and if it ends up having top tier songs of absolutely different styles and genres then I win. Come on Mother give me Paparazzi ,Heavy Metal Lover, Happy Mistake, World on a String, Disease, Sinners Prayer all in one album. 4
Puttanesca Posted Sunday at 04:32 PM Posted Sunday at 04:32 PM The way my brother knows the ROM chorus because of fortnite oh she gagged the straight boys with that one 2

Wookkruk Posted Sunday at 04:35 PM Posted Sunday at 04:35 PM Sorry something went wrong with my last post Disease did 937 630 streams this Saturday and it is only -7k from last Saturday. This is a great sign because it is the smallest drop from a previous day of the last week! 2
Bhabylon Posted Sunday at 04:36 PM Posted Sunday at 04:36 PM At least wait until the album is out before you write your think pieces about cohesiveness and how Gaga is not the same anymore blah blah blah She always has ballads/power ballads on her albums — sans Chromatica. It'll sound fine. I feel like it's more the DWAS aesthetic that has you guys listening to the song, feeling like it won't fit in with LG7 relax and enjoy the music 2

ViviLittleM Posted Sunday at 04:44 PM Posted Sunday at 04:44 PM Traumatica truly feels like it wasn't her album but Bloodpop ft Lady Gaga 4 5 1
paperfectdelusion Posted Sunday at 05:00 PM Posted Sunday at 05:00 PM Lowkey hated that 1000 doves had to be altered into oontz oontz music for cohesive purpose... most people are not streaming the album in full so what for
PerfectCure Posted Sunday at 05:02 PM Posted Sunday at 05:02 PM I just had a vision and DWAS has potential to be one of her best closers ever actually. After an album with songs full of despair and trying to take control over one's self, it all ends peacefully when love is found. I can't wait to hear it actually. I'm curious to see what Interscope cooked.
Hair Posted Sunday at 05:02 PM Posted Sunday at 05:02 PM Imagine DWAS isn't even on the album and her words were just misconstrued

Seeing posts/tweets like this every few days about Disease being 'only' 5-6-7% down and how its a good sign well if you post it every single week how the hell is it a good sign? And you compare it to other songs? Which songs? The ones that are actually charting? 1
