Spoiler

TFM-TF are virtually all perfect.

ASIB has a few clunkers (Heal Me, BIC) but overall a very strong album.

Joanne & Chrome are both average and reflect different identify crises for Gaga. They flip flop for me all the time so I have them tied. Joanne left lots of untapped potential on the table with its excellent roster of producers. She could've given us an all time classic a la Rumours. Chrome has more skips than Joanne for me and the production feels very empty/sanitized without Gaga's participation.

ARTPOP has some of her best individual songs and captures Gaga at her most carnal, frenetic state. But the album is overall subpar compared to the rest of her discography.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk!

PS, I feel it in my BONES that LG7 is coming for a seat among her trinity. We just need the puta to start the era already

No, it's more likely to announce Monday or Tuesday next week. The weekend will kill the hype.

I think he meant like Eminem did, start the week before with the teasing, etc., to build up the hype till the release and not doing like SL and announce it two days before the release

Remember when SL got announced and we were all speculating how different the final, released version would sound compared to the leaked one...just for it to end up sounding the exact same :suburban:

Spoiler

The prechorus is still godly though :gaygacat1:

Revisiting Chromatica and....it's a cute album. I think the atrocity named Stupid Love is what maybe left a bitter taste to some people.

Guys. I have a theory. May seem a bit far-fetched but I don't think it's a bad idea at all.

Many people actually think that having the pop era close to Jfad will be hard and confusing and also one would overshadow the other. So we always had theories about the schedules and dates and everything to make sense.

However, what if this time she wants to take a new approach: having the Pop era and the Jfad era intertwining witj each other under the same image / theme so everything is boosted together all at once contributing to a whole BIG era. Like the dark image she has for LG7 may be in tune with Jfad so it creates a whole consistent image throughout. It will be a "half way between fantasy and real life" just like how she always likes it. It will feel like the Harley Quinn character stepping out of the fantasy, becoming real life and giving us music.

By doing this she can have her lead and the album a bit close to Jfad, second single right before Jfad, then 1 or 2 singles from the movie, then third single off the album after the movie campaign is done. Another possibility is that there will even be a joint sìngle (a hardcore song that can appear in both LG7 and JFad ost) and that single will be pushed super hard with the music video having her in the style of Harley.

I think this idea if executed well (despite a bit hard) will be something new and refreshing to pop culture (both music and movie scenes). Also by doing this she will be EVERYWHERE and making HEADLINES left to right throughout LG7 and JFAD and back to LG7.

Not really. As I said, first and second single along with the album can come starting from June to October, then JFAD, then more sìngles off the album after JFAD, so a whole long and big era altogether. We are in June already, if LG7 and JFad have no connection then LG7 will be cut a bit short tbh. It will be a short era.

Anyone else appreciate the Chromatica era now that its coming to an end? Always loved the imagery for the album but it never felt like an important era until the tour and now film

The era? Never. It was a very dark time.  I only enjoyed the tour.

I just wish lg7 has nothing to do with Jfad

Not some of you expecting her to have several singles, I'll be happy if she makes 2 or 3, with the video for each

This all reminds me so much of when Gaga posted that picture in the beginning of the :gaygacat6:era

It's even more exciting though because she seems to be in such a good place.

I'm still not convinced that Chromatica is that special of an album in the grand scheme of things :coffee: It really was just her stepping back into the dance pop scene, or in a way her journey to feeling like she belongs in the dance pop scene again. It's a transitional album and not really a milestone one. I think all the Chromaticasters are in for a wild ride when she drags that album through the mud during the LG7 promo like she did with Joanne. She even admitted in her birthday post she hasn't felt this good making music in a decade
