wbk the shade you throw to the lyrics now we just wanna know if it has some bops or it's a mistep again so I can officially kill my hopes for KP6 and keep waiting for the real KP4 pretending all these albums never happen

 a 60k+ sales album or 60+ on Metacritic,it's really hard to tell which is more realistic

I just listened to two songs from LU KALA and they sound like Say So type of disco songs. If Katy releases a lead in that style .... she's late to the party, AGAIN.  

I was so excited for the KP6 era as she seemed so confident and excited for it but all my hopes have died today  

 

If Katy has gone back to Dr Luke, it'll feel like such a regression (as well as disappointing after everything that happened with him and Kesha).

While Witness and Smile aren't her best albums, they have some of her most interesting songs production wise - e.g. Bon Apetit, Tsuamni, 365, Never Really Over, Harley's in Hawaii and When I'm Gone, which are also more modern sounding too. She doesn't need Dr Luke. 
 

And then hearing that the lyrics are cringe hasn't helped either at all 

 

I hope I'm proven wrong but my anticipation has gone from 100 to 0.

She was never a good lyricist so who cares as long as the productions and hooks are good/catchy   

 

This is why i'm kinda mad she's working with dr puke... he hasn't produced a good song in ages
