Because they are hypocrites and walking contradictions. It's mostly Gen Z on Stan & Black Twitter who think its OK to belittle, discredit and disrespect another woman of color who came from nothing and has influenced/inspired and shaped a whole new generation of entertainers because they are fueled by lies and false narraitives. Of course. Big Leo energy. But I do think it's kids willfully being ignorant, continue to pursue these false narratives about "stolen songs" and "stolen vocals" because they want to defame her career and she's an easy target. A majority of those BGVs and producers have already explained their input and situation on the records, and almost all have praised her.

 

There's even a few videos on YouTube that's racked up millions of views that continue to push these false narratives. And nearly all of those "receipts" aren't true. But you see kids constantly posting these videos as bible because "it has a lot of views".

 

And Ben Affleck was right. The media during J.Lo's peak were incredibly racist.

It’s been a trend online for awhile but has increased due to her having a project out (Halftime) and it seems to be a trend whenever she releases new work.

 

This documentary needs to expose the media for being insanely racist especially during the late 90s to mid 2000s. She really needs to go there in her new documentary,with these false narratives about her being a ‘thief’ and ‘culture vulture’ because like I have said before it has done a lot of damage to her music cred, reputation.

 

She needs to address heads on.

 

I truly believe that she had been sabataged BTS (music career, especially around the Rebirth era) and has been a victim of racism, sexism, ageism and favouritism.
