I see the bees are calling for me so I'll post a slightly unpopular opinion, stir the pot, and go silent!

 

After watching multiple reaction channels watch the 2013 Halftime show for the first time I've come to the conclusion that it is her best live tv performance of all time.

 

I'm not sure why this would an unpopular opinion but hive likes to downplay it for sure. If I ever had to play a performance of Beyonce to strangers it would be this one.... not Coachella. Coachella is great for different reasons.

 

In 2013 she was in the best shape of her life (re-watch the way she kicks her leg in the air at the beginning of CIL), vocal peak before her deep voice era (you're looooooove WOOO), her dancers were perfectly in sync with her; including Kelly and Michelle during the start of Independent Women. After learning to appreciate her full production and the way she utilized the entire football field for Beyonce Bowl, I paid extra attention to the production set and never realized how incredible her stage was. I used to think it was bland compared to the likes of Katy Perry, but Beyonce had one the best stages the Superbowl has seen, she just didn't make it the focus outside of the intro and outro (did you see the simulation of long hair blowing across the field during Halo?). I loved the color of the lights changing as she upped the notes during LOT, the hand on her hips with her signature pose (that many pop girls have failed at recreating). Everything about the performance SCREAMS the Beyonce that the entire internet stanned in 2013. Wow what a show. That is what a true popstar is.

Actually makes me mad they added a second date when you got DC, Houston and Paris all NEEDING another date. I blame Live Nation for their sometimes weird antics.

but it's still funny that yvette, instead of killing the "cowboy carter tour is flopping" story before it became huge, decided to use announcing Las Vegas dates as proof the tour is successful with high demand and then it looks like 10% of tickets were purchased

I hope her outfits for the tour are as good as RWT's. I didn't love the outfit she had at Beyoncé Bowl and I think it may be very similar.

Like I've been saying, such a mess and a terrible PR strategy. The fact that the tour wasn't announced after Beyonce bowl will never make sense. The era really is limping over the finish line.

It makes no sense that the 'Look at that horse' post wasn't the tour announcement post, with tickets going on sale a few days/a week later.
