Chris Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago The fact I have to post this as a playlist is just The point is the 2016 VMA performance of the Limonchella medley is one of her best performances ever. 3
ToraeGilt Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Beyoncé Bowl is superior to VMA 2014 and 2016 y'all are on CRACK to think otherwise. 5 1 1 1
PrettyHurts Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) The "she rehased coachella" takes are so weird cause like....shouldn't she? it was a memorable, iconic performance and the concept was great. If anyting, she should've taken homecoming on the road instead of the tragic OTR II. Iconic artists know how to keep using similar concepts that work. It's how you build a recognizable brand. I was personally thrilled that the performance had a coachella vibe. it worked with the setting and the music Edited 17 hours ago by PrettyHurts 7 1
Starshine Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago She was referencing herself in that performance. From the Houston rodeo on the horse, to Beychella, to the SB 2016 on the field, to SB 2013 with her walk in Riverdance, to Dubai levitating and the new riff at the end. Like was that not the point? 1

She was doing more live singing and the dancing was more individualized. 2024 show was phenomenal. I think she lips more now because it is way too risky to sing live and move the way she does. She is so big now that she can not risk things such as doing a 12+ minute performance, where she is on a horse, dancing, running, being carried and lifted in the air. And then proceeding to rise up on a levitating stage and perform rigorous vocal runs. It would just be way too risky for her to sing all of that live. But it definitely does not mean she does not have less vocal ability now. She can still do everything vocally she used to do, just not necessarily in the same keys. 2
B3000 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago American requiem would have taken me out though. She is saving it for the tour. Best song on CC. Should have been released to alternative radio stations or overseas. Shame 1
ToraeGilt Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago This Beyoncé performance is so viral because why did I see a tweet with over 200k likes about her hand in the gesture of a gun? These ppl are so dumb 2

So my wish came true. Edited 11 hours ago by suneclipse121

If there is one thing the right wings hate more than Beyoncé it is woke culture. that was enough to remind me why I don't use that boomer app

alien superstore Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This might be a hot take, but I really dont need a beyoncebowl bts documentary. That's so unexciting to me. I love her other bts stuff but like, I'd so much rather some sort of documentary about cowboy carter the album itself. 2 1

Don't worry, it's definitely not a hot take because I don't want it either lmaooo!!! Like where's the fun in all of that? It's fun not to always know the inner-workings/mechanics of things like this. The mystery of it all is what makes it that much more amazing. I want VISUALS, TOUR, NEW MUSIC. Bts is nothing compared to those things in my opinion, lmaoooo!!!

I love her other bts stuff but like, I'd so much rather some sort of documentary about cowboy carter the album itself. I'll gladly take it, but I agree to an extent. As a Day 1 stan, a lot of the deepness of my love for Bey comes from seeing how much she pours into her process. We were inundated with BTS ish that drove that home. And I love it. Like, watching RWT, the BTS ish was almost as engaging (and in places more engaging) than some of the performance parts. At the same time, looking at where we are in her current product cycle and, dare I say, career cycle too, I'm way more excited by the unexpected and innovation than "more of the same" (which is what another BTS Halftime doc so close to the RWT film) would be. Any doc, tbh. At the risk of beating a dead horse, on the visual front, the only thing she should be rolling out is whatever film, series, or format she has for the visual component of the three albums. I've never wavered in my belief that it's coming (she's not about to can something she has spent millions on, shot and reshot etc), but from a timeline perspective, attention spans are short and getting shorter. Stretching this all out is getting tedious and I worry the pay off won't be "as" epic as she thinks if driving this into years to come. 1
cuteboyzay Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) She was doing callbacks in her performance for a reason. And it's insane how people are making sh*t up, and insinuating that "she's remaking these performances cause she's ran out of ideas". Cause quite frankly that's the ONLY THING they can try and come up with. And even THAT doesn't stick. You think Beyonce of ALL people, the same woman that gave us RENAISSANCE can't come up with complete brand new concepts? There's a reason why she outdoes herself because it's always DIFFERENT lmao! Beyoncé was purposely paying homage to some of her biggest performances (which also happen to be some of the most historical and iconic performances in the history of the music industry). But people lying their a**es saying she's recycling stuff just goes to show WHY they stan who they stan, and why they'll never ever understand why Beyoncé is the best lmaooo! They just continue to prove how tasteless they are and it's fun to see. Edited 10 hours ago by cuteboyzay

politeone Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago She's such a star! I love her through and through With that said, this was one of her weaker and unmemorable performances. Everything about it was just OKAY. I enjoyed the big Texas finish, I actually thought that would be where the performance would kick it up a notch, but it was the end. Looking forward to the tour! 1 3
