Knowing her, she's probably been rehearsing since late Summer. |

I would love for her to drop some BTS leading up to the show. The initial creative meetings, etc.

Was literally thinking this.

She (like most big acts) seems to be beyond the era of throwing BTS on YouTube. Nowadays, it's documenting it and shopping it to a streamer or releasing it in theaters. Because kaching $$$$.

Wouldn't it be delightfully epic if Bey dropped a "Road to Halftime" special on Netflix post-performance? It actually would make more sense packaging that with the performance than trying to push the RWT film amidst a whole new era.

What's more, it would tick-box another of her Netflix projects and naturally bleed into promotion for a CC tour, if there is one. Even if there is no tour, it gives the CC era a visual "something" ahead of the long-loading film for all the acts.

Sidebar: I want the RWT film to be released somewhere as much as the next person. But, I'm starting to clock that for as much as Bey is pulling off this monumental three-act era, there is going to be a lot of collateral along the way. And vaulting the RWT film because it doesn't align with the current project timeline (which I imagine is shapeshifting by the day) is one of those necessary evils.

A ST re-release is needed. She can include Grown Woman, Standing on the Sun and Donk. Separate Ghost/Haunted and Yoncé/Partition into separate tracks.

However... I would LOVE a joint project where B works with some legendary producer like Hans Zimmer. Similar to how Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard worked together for the original Gladiator film (and created straight up magic). This has been a dream of mine because it would be two giants meeting and I think Zimmer would push Bey into new teerritories while B would offer musical instinct, experience and an instrument (in her voice) that Zimmer has never had before.

So spooky how I've always hoped for a collaboration with Hans. I really it was going to happen for The Lion King.

And yeah no, to the other one. I actually think that would flop big time.

The other thing I can't really fathom is why she's doing this on... Christmas Day

As a mother to very young children, this is a really significant decision she's made.

To me, that indicates some sort of fire under her ahhss to really create a moment with this album - which excites me. But as it's Christmas Day I just cannot imagine there being many dancers or musicians willing to give up their day for a 10 minute Beyonce gig. But then...who of us wouldn't give up their family holiday one year for a Xmas with Beyonce?

It's all a bit confusing. And really hard to picture tbh.

To add to this I wish she would start releasing anniversary editions of her old albums. They've always been a thing but recently it seems like they're becoming more popular again. Artists such as Ariana, Mariah, Janet, Gaga, Alicia Keys, Nicki, John Legend have all recently released them. Even Taylor is cashing in on nostalgia in her own way with the Taylor's Versions.

I was hoping we'd get a 20 year edition of DIL last year but she let it pass without doing anything.

Is it maybe because she doesn't care about revisiting her old stuff and would rather keep moving forward? I kinda get it but it feels like there's untapped potential.

I used to dance semi-professionally in my former years and lets just say that: No dancer has ANY issues to dance a show on festive holidays like that if the cash is right.

An opportunity to create a legendary performance with the legendary Beyonce which basically impacts your entire salary going forward?

Oh trust and believe no one gives a crap about missing out on christmas with the fam lol

Thats literally a once in a lifetime chance for any aspiring dancer

I'm placing bets on her announcing Act III after the performance.

I really can't see her touring again until all three acts are out. Hence the one-off halftime show.

For creatives, especially one as tough a scene as for dancers, it's not a big deal to perform on holidays at all. Especially one SO epic. To perform with THE Beyoncé, on her first televised live show in 5+ years, live streamed on Netflix worldover. It's a big deal.

But yes I agree with the rest. Bey clearly has some fire under her ass to make a statement! (or they just paid her big time - especially in NFL and Netflix equity)

Also not everyone celebrates or likes Christmas so not sure all those involved in the production care. You get Christmas every year, but only one chance to work with Bey. What an unforgettable experience it would be for them too. I am jealous…

She won't do this for another 20 years. Be real

2 things:

- many people don't care about Christmas or celebrate Jesus' birthday like that

- many people continue to work on Christmas Day. they just typically get paid overtime or double. nurses, retail workers, restaurant staff, cops and firefighters etc. assuming/hoping it's similar for those workers — all the camera operators who will be working the entire football match, lighting, sound tech, the stadium employees, security, food vendors, marching bands, cheerleaders... world doesn't stop on Dec. 25.
