Fleahive Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Are Smilers our only true allies? It may be temporary, but I can't imagine a world where people compare Beyoncé to Miley so there's no reason for them to turn on us. Arianators were real bitter today, normally they're on our side. Ariana is always in my top five artist of the year and I convinced myself that yes and? Was good until Cowboy Carter came out and i never turned that mess on ever again. That entire album was garbage except for The Boy is Mine and the remix was absolutely atrocious (and let's not get into the yes and? Remix). Ariana's vocals sound so annoyingly kiddish on most of the album. I prefer her deeper notes on Positions. Chile anyway, you can tell when an artist puts their foot into a project and when they half ass it. Fan bases can't comprehend that their faves are all lazier than Beyonce and will never have an album run like she has. There's a reason why she always dominates categories. "She only got noms cause she's Beyoncé!" And how do you think she became Beyoncé? Was she born into a royal monarch?

Who says it didnt? People always say "please vote" in hopes they would vote for what you believe in, but people might just vote for what u dont want them to vote for lol

Kristie Kuwa Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 (edited) Regarding the Grammies: I think itll be Chappels night. The industry adores her and her music made huge noise. GLB is such a great song, I think she'll go home with like 5 Grammies tbh Edited November 9, 2024 by Kristie Kuwa
Kalmanta Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 It seems like she and her team really hoped Bodyguard would blow up like Cuff It. A pop Grammy nom and that Pamela video supposedly coming out in June (iirc)? We failed her, that song and Runnin' are her best under appreciated pop leaning songs.

ScorpiosGroove Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 how do you spend every single day in here worrying and crying about hypothetical haters and then make setup threads ? never beating the allegations 2
Kristie Kuwa Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Lets see if the streams for CC increase today/tomorrow following the nominations. Also, I encourage you all to give CC some new listens. It truly hits perfectly with this autumn-y/winter-y weather and some songs sound much better now, such as Just For Fun or SHB or 16C. Do yourselves a favor and listen to quality! 3
Draper. Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I hope it reenters the Billboard 200 again this week after the Bodyguard video.
ReneighIsHere Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 it rose a lot on Apple Music after the nominations Album: COWBOY CARTER Spotify: #194 Netherlands (-5) Apple Music: #12 Netherlands (+4) #13 Fiji (NE) #15 Brazil (+6) #19 Kuwait (NE) #21 Mauritius (NE) #28 Portugal (+10) #33 New Zealand (+84) #33 Slovenia (NE) #34 Bahrain (NE) #34 Ireland (+77) #36 Philippines (+52) #37 Antigua and Barbuda (NE) #40 Bulgaria (+16) #40 Guyana (+21) #43 Australia (+32) #43 The Bahamas (+8) #46 Cayman Islands (-9) #47 Croatia (NE) #47 Lithuania (NE) #51 Belize (NE) #54 United Kingdom (+24) #56 Barbados (NE) #57 Romania (+5) #58 Kenya (+5) #58 United States (+28) #60 Trinidad and Tobago (+6) #62 Anguilla (-44) #62 Turkey (+117) #64 Cambodia (+19) #64 Liberia (NE) #65 Cyprus (NE) #66 Norway (NE) #66 Sweden (+76) #68 Jamaica (-2) #75 Libya (-3) #82 Tajikistan (NE) #83 Vietnam (NE) #85 Denmark (-9) #88 Costa Rica (NE) #88 Spain (+56) #94 Canada (+95) #96 Honduras (NE) #97 Belgium (+10) #98 St. Vincent and The Grenadines (-65) #99 South Africa (+18) #100 North Macedonia (NE) #103 Switzerland (+67) #122 Poland (-10) #123 Austria (+39) #124 Indonesia (+70) #126 Malaysia (NE) #141 Thailand (NE) #155 Peru (NE) #163 Italy (NE) #165 Finland (-61) #168 Chile (NE) #170 Argentina (-23) #173 Colombia (NE) #181 Germany (NE) #183 France (NE) iTunes: #47 Estonia (-8) #62 United States (NE) #127 United Kingdom (NE) 3 1
Kristie Kuwa Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Oh she really does always win in the end, doesnt she?
Lose My Breath Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I hope this causes one of her best albums to get a nice resurgence, it deserves it. If she isn't planning on putting out another act soon, should really should release Bodyguard officially now to kind of rally for her GRAMMYs 2
Jon Snow Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 If there's a Mufasa song, she'll be releasing that. All that is left of COWBOY CARTER era are the GRAMMYs and eventual visuals. BODYGUARD will remain a missed opportunity

I do agree that we shouldnt bank on CC single treatment - she clearly wants to be lolwkey with CC to eventually launch Act3 next year
Lose My Breath Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 It's crazy to me that ALL of those album tracks are nominated or GRAMMYs She did miss sending II HANDS to best R&B category - it would've been nominated for sure, and that little viral trend would've helped
Lose My Breath Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 With the GRAMMY stir, if she announces a tour right now, I think she may get a good catalogue boost like she did with Rennie
Kingdom Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I think either her or chapelle will win AOTY and i am leaning towards CC. She won't win SOTY or ROTY but i think that AOTY is hers. In a lifetime award sense 1
TipToe Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I hope ACT III formal debut happens as soon as The Grammy passes or maybe a little sooner, like a teaser in January or something. And i have a feeling she will keep with the no visuals bullshit to keep the trilogy consistent.
