As I got older I began to realize just how much she has been falling deeper and deeper since the beginning through her music too. I mean, the leads were literally titled Crazy In Love and Dangerously in Love. Her whole life and identity has always been centered around her feelings about him. I know most music falls into the love category, but that's why heating something like Cozy, Black Parade, Formation, My House from Beyonce is important, I love her when she isn't singing about him.

For sure. DIL must have meant something to her because she put it out twice, and she named the album after it so it must have defined what she felt. Beyoncés always been a true artist who expressed their feelings and their heart at the moment. She doesn't ever need to speak. Her music does all the talking.

That's why I find this recent CC album so interesting lyrically.  It's probably the first album where for some reason I can't picture J in these songs. With the last record, I totally got that Heated, POTS, Cuff it, and esp. Virgos Groove were about him.

I really doubt Dolly likes CC. She is not going to say anything bad about it. Does anyone even listen to the Dolly intro?

Those were silly comments from her though.

Ms. Tina came out and said that comment was photshopped. :rip: She didn't have anything to say about Dolly's comment.

They rarely say anything, why would the one time they do be about Dolly who is rather harmless?

Lol, you better go back and listen babe.

Daughter is about her literally beating a ***** down for Jay, this is very likely related to The Met Gala moment. :deadbanana2:

Riverdance is about a lover's affair and her coming to terms with wanting him regardless of his indiscretions.

II Hands II Heaven continue this notion, describing the love as timeless and forever, forgiving all past actions.

Tyrant settles in as she is finally able to stop being mad and think about what the other "vices" offer him so she can steal it and use it to her advantage.

Would quote the exact lyrics sections if you want, the highs on this album are insane.

I been reading blinds for years cause i dont have a personal life lol.

Many say that Jay-Z is haunted by ghosts and that one day the truth will come out about him. But honestly, I've never seen anything that really seems shady about him. Maybe regarding cheating, but that's it :cm: i would be shocked if something comes about him :giraffe:
There's shady stuff with Birdman....

The worst thing I've read about Jay-Z on blinds is that he fathered a child with an underage woman back in the day. That shouldn't even be considered a blind item considering there is an actual court case about it...

But yeah the rest of the other blinds are just about him cheating which isn't really vile in the grand scheme of f*cked up things that goes on in the industry, so Bey should be safe.

I actually thought Flamenco, Just for Fun and Bodyguard felt very true to the narratives we know about that relationship

Considering how infamously squeaky clean Beyonce has been both infront of and behind the cameras, I would be absolutely shocked if the Carters were in any way affiliated with the awful allegations that have come out regarding Diddy. That being said, I don't know her. Just love her art. But yeah I'd be really truly shocked.

I do think there is a large contingent of people that just don't like them, and they do have a history with Diddy and Cassie, which will obviously raise eyebrows. But let's just see what happens. There's honestly not much to say at this point other than a lot of people don't like her, and there's a troubling proliferation of dangerous people in powerful circles.

We know there is a 3rd album coming from her latest interview but I'm not so sure anymore it's gonna be rock influenced. We already got plenty of that on CC, psychedelic rock influences on the opener, a Beatles cover, Chuck Berry, Beach Boys, clear inspirations by Tina and Fleetwood Mac. I know the genre boundaries between country, blues, folk and rock are blurry at times and Bey showed exactly that with CC, but what else is left to show about the broad genre rock and its roots?

What's even more dark-sided about the internet wanting Jay Z/the Carters to be "next" is that a significant part of Diddy's case is his abuse towards Cassie. Ppl hate J+B so much that they're creating imaginary scenarios that would involve Jay being physically violent towards Bey…all bc they want it be a major news story.

We complain all the time but **** like this is the EXACT REASON she doesn't talk to us anymore.

I'm supposed to care what this misogynistic psychopath thinks? Morons have roamed the earth since the dawn of man. It's just recently we've had to be subjected to their idiocy en masse because of social media.

This is his Twitter header.... can't make this **** up

Completely disagree. Ya Ya was a super late addition to the record which logically means it was probably taken from the Act III recordings.

We also have a history of news reports from before even Renaissance dropped that the three genres would be Dance, Country and Rock.

Combine this with the fact that Tina is literally her goat, and the fact that Rock perfectly lines up with the other two genres as black-founded white-adopted art spaces, and it's clear that this will be the direction.

There's a lot more to rock that she could and should explore in Act III.

I also think Ya Ya was added to Cowboy to further ensure all three acts tie in together with eachother. Renaissance talks a lot about rodeo culture. CC's final third is effectively a country renaissance mini album. And Ya Ya hints at further rock exploration.

Ya Ya is the most rock 'n' roll we get in the CC tracklist, but sounds nothing like Don't Hurt Yourself, River Deep, I Love Rock n Roll, Sweet Home Alabama, Whole Lotta Love, School's Out, Don't Stop Believin, I Can't Get No Satisfaction, Starman, Gimme Shelter, Rebel Rebel or Born to be Wild.

There's SO much to Rock n Roll and she's gonna EAT

What's crazy is people WANT certain things to be true. Without any evidence, they're convinced Jay Z is on Diddy's level of scandal and perversion. They want there to be victims. They want to see a successful black power couple fall. It be the same people who think Bey had Aaliyah off'd for her own gain. It's so psychotic.

The funny thing about all of this is the constant flip flopping. Somehow she's this super illiterate, dumb woman but at the same time also an evil mastermind. She can't write a song to save her life but she can orchestrate decade long crimes. She's a poor grooming victim but at the same time she's also an abusive monster. She's the forgotten flop nobody cares about these days but she's also one of the first people think about when it comes to handling every single problem in the world. Like damn at least pick a narrative and stick to it :rip:
