regarding the no more free beyoncé performances thing, i'm pretty sure her losing the Oscar for Be Alive was the final nail in the coffin. she was obviously already on her way out of award show performances and free gigs anyway (since she birthed the twins at least) but i'm kinda convinced she wouldn't have cut them out entirely had she won :rip:

same for the grammies, i'm sure we'd still get some of those performances had lemonade won aoty.

on one hand i'm all for not giving those stingy fucks more free rating fodder, on the other hand auntie could at least do some performances on her own accord to give us something… instead of just doing nothing :deadbanana:

I would like her to do a live accoustic set somewhere and put it on her youtube page. If that's the only official performance for this era i would take it. It would even promote her coming tour and get people even more excited for the live cowboy carter performances.

Oh wow. This era really came and went huh?

I'm usually positive hive but the fact that there's actually NOTHING to talk about about is catching me off guard.

No cliquebait. No American Requiem teaser trailer. The Club Cowboy Carter events are flops. Like woah, Beyoncé!

She finally won. She finally broke our souls.

Such an unfortunate ERA for her best album

I even lost interest in the album survivor :rip:

(sorry @Devin, it's all her fault)

She didn't even promote/campaign so what did she expect :rip:

Also she has just to record an James Bond Song  :rip: (Sam Smith, Billie and Adele all won)

That last line.

And the more they said, "Oh she won't show us her hair," the more she didn't want to show it. So we had a hard time getting her to finally put that video out."

Sounds about right. :deadbanana2:

She's so hard-headed omg. I think fans need to stop asking for visuals and performances and she'll put them out herself. She really hates being told what to do. Wbk.

Or we should tell her to not release the visuals, not go on an actual world tour and not release act iii to rush the process.

I'm starting to appreciate Cowboy Carter more and more with each hyped up new release from a pop girl. Eternal Sunshine, Tortured Poets, Radical Optimism and Hit Me Hard and Soft. They all are better or worse for different reasons, but all of them sound plain and monotonous in comparison to Cowboy Carter. I don't know how to put it, but it feels like they're trying to put together a body of work that works together as this one thing, but they are missing the fun of pop music.
