It’s like those projects are the one thing that matters for the whole era and everything else is just barely done. In those 27+ years the last 13 have had questionable antics that are so common and basic for a release. We get the Big Bang at first and nothing much to sustain the era. 1

I get what u mean, and I agree that the additionally content we as fans get post album release has been lackluster to say the least. But in terms of creating a moment and launching a new era, Team Bey is truly amazing. Also I just think we often spend a lot of time moaning and criticizing, but for the moment, THE is doing its thing and the album and thus new content is literally within reach. People love to use Taylor as a comparison, but Swifties also have to wait 2 months since the anouncement. Its not like they are getting fed and the excitement of the anouncement is also gone by now
sillycilla Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The Verizon commercial is not going to help album sales. That got people excited about the single and new era. Parkwood is going to have to do more. 3

Why not put the link up? Is she going to have another “moment” when she releases the preorder link or not have one at all? Money is her endgame. It’s even more ridiculous now to minimize ways people can pay for her work. That other is in the middle of a tour, released the link and track list so fans are busy with something.

Meanwhile taylor has her vinyls/preorders up for 2 months before. No excuse That girl is trying to beat her own records and bleed her fans dry. She isn’t afraid of a leak because she’s incredibly litigious and her cult will get the links taken down themselves. I love Beyoncé down but unlike some folks in this thread, I’m a stan who doesn’t follow the blind allegiance guidelines ala Swifties, MAGA, Barbz, Russians 1

Who knows tho: maybe the release of the cover and title + releasing the amount of tracks will move us again? Lets just sit back and see what shes got in store for us

I’m so sorry guys but y’all ain’t ready to hear the truth… If you want to talk just about the actual MUSIC, so we don’t include « concept » or « context » whatsoever… Lemonade is her most BORING album I can’t remember when I listened to that album for the last time… it’s very boring, too many mid tempo/ballads… after 2 years of Renaissance, I can officially say her best albums are definitely B’Day and Renaissance. Still cannot determine which one I like better… they are both 10/10. 4 and Beyonce (no order) are right behind these 2. 1 2

Redporus Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Honestly I will patiently wait and enjoy the album when it comes. At this point it’s whatever, when the album cover, name, tracklist and preorder comes I will be fine. I am just here for the music at this point, marketing has left the chat and I will not stay perched or watching Twitter, IG and ATRL intermittently to see if we have an update.
Redporus Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) And y’all need to shut up about her doing low opening numbers already. There is absolutely no way she will open with less than 300k, promo or no promo/marketing at all….be for real. Her brand equity still has a strong demand on consumers. Edited March 9 by Redporus

It’s still a success but it probably won’t see an explosion until she does something. I can see slight increases on streaming as it gains its momentum back. The pull from Tik Tok definitely hurt its momentum in the US though. This is it, if I could ever say one thing to her it would be, "You are the QUEEN BEE, everyone follows your lead. Please LEAD!"
Burn Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) When listening to the album version of AHAP it’s impossible to not hear the elements of the remix in my head. She really elevated an already perfect song. Edited March 9 by Burn 2

Erotica Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Just watching some of her live performances at the moment and just noticed the horse at the start of Be Alive… She was telling us all along. Love the little hints, nothing with her is random! 1

Burn Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Songs that she needs to perform at the Act II tour: That’s Why You’re Beautiful (played directly before/after 16 Carriages) Suga Mama Irreplaceable Best Thing I Never Had Daddy Lessons (I mean I think this one is a given) All Night Jealous (kind of a reach but it deserves a moment) If I Were A Boy 1+1 and Rather Die Young can also return.
luxurious Posted March 9 Posted March 9 If the visuals for both renaissance and act 2 are coming together I wonder how I’ll feel about it. I’m assuming each album will get its own film but it’s still interconnected in some way. It could be a combined film (but I don’t want that) on one hand maybe the films cannot stand alone and need the other for context/to make the experience more worthwhile which means the delay for renaissance is arguably justified(ish). However if act 2 is more successful than renaissance as an album i can see act 2’s visuals completely overshadowing renaissance’s which would be a shame

All of these are feasible except That's Why You're Beautiful. I would wager that song will never be performed again
