PrudenceHCharmed Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) This is so emotional tbh especially when you became a fan in the 4 era. You'll never see B topping the charts or news of her being number one on Hot 100. Let me listen to No No No and Bug A Boo to celebrate. Edited February 27 by PrudenceHCharmed 4
QueenB Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I feel so old when people say they've been fans since IA..SF/4 onwards as I been obsessed with her since DC days 9

Comedor Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I got my stan card after 2003 VMA. I didn’t know about DC, but I remember my mom listening to IW, SMN and Survivor.

Just unlocked trauma of my mom winning tickets on the radio to the joint tour with missy elliott, alicia keys, and beyoncé and she picked my sister to go because she was "a bigger fan" which was a LIE and I never let her down for it 1

What a throwback. I remember learning the choreo to Monica’s The First Night from watching The Box. I didn’t become a real fan until Baby Boy though. That video and the choreo on the beach platform during Sean’s verse hooked me in. 1

Starshine Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Ou wow.. Cécred really lives up to the hype. There's a subtle minty smell to it and it doesn't irritate my scalp. She saw that bald spot when she was flying over me in Club Renaissance and said I NEED to start a haircare line. I need this in stores asap. 8

Starshine Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Oh wow, the age gaps in here... mother really appeals to EVERYONE. From the senior citizens to gen alpha. My lesbian cousin had a DC album and I liked some songs here and there. She was sort of inescapable on radio with Check On It, I heard it every morning on my way to 3rd grade. But I was a full on Hilary Duff and Hannah Montana stan. I haven't seen the light yet until she was dry humping the air at the 2009 VMAs, shortly after MJ's death. And I just knew I had to throw the Disney stan card away. 1

OMg remember the lil quick top ten recap that would play constantly through the day. Or the excitement of sitting around waiting for your favorite video to come on? Ooh! Do you remember when DC and Jagged Edge were doing that middle school tour sponsored by the box?
Space&Time Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Ya’ll wanna know how ancient but true to it I am? Not only a fan since 1997 Kiling Time, but I was in the original Destiny’s Child fan club in 1998. I received plenty of 8 x 10’s a letter and an Autographed photo 😭 8

All she needed was a light, her puss, and a mic. She said yeah the hee-hee singer is gone.. but I'm still here. She's darksided for wiping it off the internet. 1
