cloudbusting Posted February 7 Posted February 7 even if she didnt love performing (which she clearly does), she obviously loves money enough to keep touring until she simply cannot 2 2

Beyoncé has always had ventures since the beginning of her solo career : Dereon, IVP, the perfumes etc, she has always done this. She might not release as often but she will still do music and tour. Fenty is brought up because it's one of the first artist-led brands that truly blew all the way up in recent memory. Not just in a "x celeb is promoting x product" way, but it's actually a thing-thing and rivals the longest-running make-up brands. It's "the" go-to line at the moment. After all the promotion our girls have done for huge corpoations, it figures why they (Bey etc) naturally want to become big corporations in and of themselves.
Redporus Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) Well I am happy that Ce-base is alive again....for the moment What else are we gonna talk about, other from the fact that the often misjudged IASF album, is her first Album of the Year nomination. 4lop, Dangerously in Filler and L-day wishes they had the range like I Am Slayage Fierce. cloudbusting Posted February 7 Posted February 7 cecred is here so we can “wash” the idea of another act/film on streaming/live album out of our silly little heads 2

Parkwood tried to become a label Ivy Park Beyoncé Parfums / Cé Noir Cécred Plus her own hemp and honey farm That rumored suitcase brand she's developing I don't see her trying to quit music just because she has business ventures. She's had them since the early part of her solo career. She's had her own fashion line, perfumes, she's produced films, started charities, and even co-owned a streaming service (lol). I know she loves her cash but music and art is what seems to feed her soul and has been a part of her since she was a kid. Since IVYPARK was solo-launched in 2016, Beyoncé released Lemonade, The Gift, Everything is Love, Black is King, RENAISSANCE and launched three world tours. If Beyoncé decides to slow down or stop producing music it won't be because she has a haircare line and other ventures, it'll be because she no longer wants to make music. swissman Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Beyoncé is far too much of a Virgo to give up her craft just because she has a haircare line.
PrettyHurts Posted February 7 Posted February 7 ms tina will likely do a press tour/interviews while beyoncé relaxes in her 200m mansion 3
Chris Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Of course I see the usual pressed people all in her IG comments over what Jay said even though Beyonce clearly didn't want him to say that.

How do u know? He knows her inside out and still said what he said - im sure she feels the same way behind closed doors 2
Chris Posted February 7 Posted February 7 This woman literally bothers NO ONE, does not make comments about anyone's situation, is not on Twitter making a fool of herself with outbursts, never takes a personal jab at anyone, barely goes outside, has shown nothing but love to people (from Taylor Swift to Madonna to Megan The Stallion and much more)...... And yet people say she is overrated, she is evil, call her a pedophile supporter, say she is trying to be a white woman , gets accused of bleaching her skin, say she hates her fans (which is kinda partially true), and are now calling her bitter because of not winning an Album of the Year Grammy Award. 3
cloudbusting Posted February 7 Posted February 7 been revisiting this album this morning and something like this on a rock-inspired act would eat and definitely feels more like the approach she might consider instead of like… straight up rock if that makes sense there are touches of rock instrumentation and energy, but it still feels rooted in solid groove 1
kimberly Posted February 7 Posted February 7 plsss not the haircare line announcement causing another Hivé Civil War 1

Most of those "people" in her IG comments are paid bot accounts purchased by the team of a certain pop star (who shall not be named). I've seen many of those same "people" praising that girl across various Black celeb-focused social accounts. Jay Z said nothing about #her, but a hit fan will holler. His criticism of the Grammys struck a nerve with them because, deep down, they know #she's over-hyped and mediocre.

And I don’t dislike her. She makes mediocre music for mediocre people. Her music is by no means bad, it just kinda exists. I’m happy her fans love it.
ShouldersSideways Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I'll reserve judgment on the marketing but her unwillingness to let the walls down and be relatable is what ultimately hurts her business ventures. She can kinda get away with it in music because she's built a reputation for being quality and her lyrics are often fun and self-referential, but she's gonna have to spam herself giggling and getting her hair done or holding products like Rihanna and Ariana if she really wants to go the distance. Cbreezy Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Oh Bey. The way I was/am down with this Cecred thing, only to see now that TS has just announced the Disney+ release of her concert film "with 5 extra songs" The competitive part of my mind is annoyed that Bey is seemingly chilling while ole girl continues to make musical moves that are helping cement this manufactured idea that she's this innovator who reigns over everyone. The logical side reminds that we must be near the VOD drop for the Rennie film. Using the AMC template for TS, by this time in the product cycle, an announcement has to be imminent. What will be interesting to see with Bey is if she "does a TS" and goes wide with the VOD first and then gives a streamer an "expanded version" with the cut songs and more doc footage. Or whether she goes straight to a streamer. IMO, I say bypass the BS and go straight to a streamer. I'd take any of them, but Netflix still makes the most sense for Bey's demo and in terms of getting millions more eyeballs on what is a really great film. 1
