That song playing is the exact reason I'd be so here for a "Country" album for Act 2.

The reality is that Bey's take on it would be a Southern, Gospel, Country-tinged fusion. Heavy on the hand-claps, call and repeats etc. It gives her easy avenue to go "uptempo" and energy driven without stepping on Rennie's toes. All while sounding radio friendly too.

Yesssss. Pharrell producing bluegrass music?! I hope Beyoncé called him for Act II.

Ruined by these lyrics:

Dated on arrival.

This is dated, but considering it was referencing the pandemic, I think everyone will be just fine. It's, actually, a highlight for a lot of ppl.

Considering the visuals snippet shown on the tour, it's a reference to the visuals as well.

Hello Hive, does anybody know why I can't find Lay Up Under Me on streaming?

did we ever find out what those weird silver knight/cowboy boots by adidas (?) were used for ? someone posted about her using them for a shoot before Ren came out (iirc)… might point towards the rodeo thing as well :cold2:

Two things.

1. If you had put a gun to my head and told me to name my favorite Beyoncé song I’d probably choke up and DIE just because all of her songs are my favorite. BUT lately Dangerously In Love has really been speaking to me. Listening to the live versions old and new, DC version, album version, this is lyrically her best song ever when it comes to love. And vocally she’s on another level in all versions. The live versions are especially haunting as she really fills into the dangerous theme of the song with her deep mysterious vocals.

2. I need to stop being a fake fan and watch the ENTIRE intimate Las Vegas show from 2009. Every time I come across a clip I’m surprised. That may be her best live show ever tbhhhh and yall too busy whining about the formation tour. Beyoncé does not need a big stage to create an epic moment. Whew!!!!!

Wynn Las Vegas is her performance peak no question. Enjoy.

yeah I saw a lot of posts about the so called CONFIRMED tribute happning and couldnt help but piss a little ngl:lmao:

on a side note, the person who first confirmed Taylor's South American dates details like the bank that was sponsoring and **** said Brazil and Mexico are sure happening and Argentina is close to being set as a new sponsor came forward and secured the money needed. I havent felt this anxious in a while. I missed her only visit to my country in 2010 cause I was barely a casual then and a teenager with no income and now after waiting for more than a decade as a stan it might just happen :jonny5:

I'm obviously bitter because of what Bey's done to us but... the budget is clearly there, but it still looks a disjointed mess. :deadbanana4:

Better than what we've got, though! Knowing Bey she probably shot the whole visual for less than $5m and worked her staff to the point of exhaustion then decided to never release it anyway
