am i the only one who doesn’t care at all about a tina tribute atp ? :cold2: we got like 40 of them this year alone + the times she performed her songs before

it ain’t happening anyway but i’d much rather get a a Renny medley or ACT II lead single than that…

i’ll gladly take it tho since it’s better than nothing and a professionally recorded beyoncé performance is rare goods these days (and it’ll be a good sign that the next era will be close)

I would only care if she did sth like The Best or Whats Love Got to do with it. I couldn't care less for another version of River Deep or Proud Mary

exactly this, if she does it at least give us something new to celebrate Tina (preferably something a little more upbeat)

we really don’t need another "standing there looking pretty” performance of River Deep with a weird arrangement :sorry:

I mean to perform Tina with an upbeat song as an appetizer for Act2 would be super iconic, especially if Act2 truly focusses on Rock, but its the Queen of not using her chances, so yeah... expecting nothing tbh

we think the exact same thing !

look at us speculating like it won’t just be a phoned in "i love you deep" video or some depressive, monotone monologue featuring her sleepy voice while she sits at home burning that day’s dinner :snowball:

Soul not for sale.

If she does it, she needs to do Nutbush City Limits. That psychedelic funk rock sound is exactly what I need her to do if she’s really going rock. :jonny5:

If she doesn’t do upbeat Tina then she should stay at home

At this point it’s an open secret that Legion is part of the Parkwood machinery right? I mean they changed their profile pic to a Renaissance themed winged lion days before the official announcement.

I LOVE how we constantly read her for FILTH, while eating up the bits and scraps she overpriced 🤣‼️ The iconic Beyhive have certainly come a long way, because if this was 2010? There would be threads of how fans have our address and are coming to kill us💀‼️

The fact that we're at the point where we're begging for an In Memoriam tribute appearance when that's usually the last thing any fanbase wants to hear

I came here because I saw a Twitter account say "ATRL says Beyonce is in advance talks with the GRAMMYs for a Tina tribute"

Is the source really just y'all speculating about it?

The last minute of Haunted is one of my favorite things ever.

The lyrics...

The delivery.....

The vocals..........

God do I LOVE the beautiful lil run at 00:19

It sounds so dreamy, serene, whimsical, magical etc. ughhhhh, I wish she performed this song fully or at least to that part on RWT so I can get another chance of her singling like that.

wasn't there some talk that Andrew was behind the Legion account now a few days ago?

the way Legion STOPPED WORKING makes me believe this is categorically true. giving Parkwood employee, for sure.

"Break My Soul" is beyond a just a house beat.

Ruined by these lyrics:

Quote

we back outside
You said you outside, but you ain't that outside
Worldwide hoodie with the mask outside
In case you forgot how we act outside

Dated on arrival.

Yes, he tweeted something from the Legion account, deleted it, then tweeted it on his own. Or vice versa, can't remember exactly. Either way, it seems like he was logged into the wrong one.

If she’s doing the Tina Turner tribute, then I can see Act II coming a couple months after that. Bey loves an ‘unrelated’ pre-new era performance. She did the Oscars a couple months before Renaissance. She did Made in America a couple months before Lemonade.

Hopefully you're right for both to happen :duca:

its not really a secret anymore. they acquired them over the pandemic. they went quiet for a LONG time and then only recently started up once the era was revving up.

there used to be a fan behind it though, because they were active on the beyhive boards back in the day (circa 2010-2017), and there was beef between the admins of the board and legion for whatever reason i don't remember.

That song playing is the exact reason I'd be so here for a "Country" album for Act 2.

The reality is that Bey's take on it would be a Southern, Gospel, Country-tinged fusion. Heavy on the hand-claps, call and repeats etc. It gives her easy avenue to go "uptempo" and energy driven without stepping on Rennie's toes. All while sounding radio friendly too.
