I was just rewatching the trailer and stopped because I recognized their outfits from an IG post (https://www.instagram.com/p/CuF24tLPXgW/?img_index=10)

This was shot most likely in Paris, but I wonder what they were doing in a big arena AFTER the european leg was done...

I think Paris is where they rehearsed the show before it started (and a tiny image of the stage surfaced on twitter)

In regards to that "Artists with Most Hot 100 and Billboard 200 #1s" thread, I am curious to know if Billboard counts the Dreamgirls soundtrack as part of Beyoncé's tally.

I would assume The Bodyguard counts for Whitney (I could be wrong though) and Beyoncé appears on a higher percentage of tracks 13/20 than Whitney does on The Bodyguard (6/13), but I understand that Whitney's were all solo songs.

Anyway, does anyone know the official stance on this from Billboard?

Pathetic. Why involve her in this mess?!
and they wonder why she doesn't talk to her fans 🤣

The girls are PATHETIC!

It's part hilarious (how far the reach is allowed to go when it comes to Bey) and part scary.

Tickets are not in sale yet for the territories with the asterisks which would include Israel, and amc is the one responsible for distributing the film. But very interesting that they’re targeting Bey and not the multiple films including marvel and taylor who also have showings planned. I hate these keyboard warriors with a passion, and to make a “gotcha” moment during a genocide is disgusting.

Yeah! But what's bothering me is that this picture was posted on June 30th which was way after the rehearsals! But maybe I'm just looking into it too much and it was a latergram!

That photo of them on the hotel balcony doesn't match the rest of the photos in the same post, which are related to their appearance at the Vuitton show in June. Perhaps they just added an earlier photo from the time of their stay in Paris for the rehearsals at La Defense to match the more recent pictures from around the Vuitton show. That would explain why they're wearing the same outfits in the documentary footage; it's May and they're surveying the stage at La Defense.

The hotel, for those who are interested, is the Cheval Blanc which is owned by LVMH (Bey's keepers). :eli:

more chronically online people with nothing better to do than trying to score RTs, they don't actually care about what's going on. If you are going to go stretch that far on boycotting things, then why is she on X where the owner is using the platform to spread misinformation on Palestine/Israel?

Well Legion and numerous other big Hive accounts have been posting pro-Palestine info and donation links for the past month. Plus her creative director, AMakadsi, is Arab and has been posting about it as well. It’s NOT going away that easy. :clack:

It’s the way how my country showed The Eras film and we are yet to see anything official for the Renaissance Film :gaycat7:

it’s so fascinating to me how this shot wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for a major malfunction and now it’s been used in all promotional campaigns for the movie, including different angles

It’s actually disgusting that she’s not showcasing the film in Spain, but is showcasing the film in an Apartheid state.

They do not count it for her because the album is not affected to her.

Various Artists - Dreamgirls

Whitney Houston - The Bodyguard

They don’t take the decision.

If it were released as such Beyoncé and Various Artists - Dreamgirls... it would count.

Anyway she could have had 9#1s now if she had released Homecoming on Friday and pushed The Gift a bit more (twice #2).

I love that even you can’t support her decision to show it in Israel and you go hard for her, it’s inexcuseable :coffee2:

imo she should know better tbh :lakitu:
