ToraeGilt Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 On to other news..... These numbers are pretty good
Hallad173 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 That’s a much better projection than I thought it would be. 3

If so, that would see her veer towards 100m globally, which would be a slay. IIRC, Taylor’s film cost like $20 million to make. And while I don’t see how shooting/editing a show for cinematic release costs that much, using that as a base for Bey’s, that would mean a huge profit. I think I read something about these AMC deals being 57% to the artist. With a potential $100m gross launch week (or thereabout), that’s nearly $60 million to Bey - which if I remember correctly was the **total** sum for her “three picture” Netflix deal. In short, I’m seeing more and more reason why this theatrical route makes sense. It’s already a huge profit as is and then if she takes it to streaming after (which is logical), that’s even more $$$. All for something that cost comparatively little to make. Spoiler I still think this theatrical route should have been the vehicle for the “visuals” more than the tour. But it’s whatever at this point. Edited November 3, 2023 by Cbreezy 2

She’s fascinating and I respect her very much Actually this one have all the more updated interludes 1
Lose My Breath Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Honestly, if she promoted and pushed it, she could open with more, but we know she wont 1
Devin Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 yea the motto this whole era was let the music and celeb status speak for itself lol
ToraeGilt Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The projection is pretty good. I hope they are not overestimating her numbers. I was thinking/hoping she would gross 50 mil domestically but this prediction kinda blew me away...

Let’s hope that the LA premiere is huge.
Mitsouko Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The movie's probably not even gonna get a release after the AMC run. It'll be cinemas or nothing, watch. 1

Yvonne girl since we know you lurk, you might as well go ahead and let the world know. Might squeeze out a couple more million in Gross.
Cbreezy Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) Surprised no one has posted this yet. Could Rodeo really be a...thing?! Quote Beyoncé was interested in country; I think she had had a really bad experience at a country music award show, and she wanted to research its African-American roots. She discovered that 50 per cent of cowboys were Black, in the 19th and early 20th century, and country music, of course, has been largely appropriated. She wanted to reappropriate Americana and country music from a Black perspective, hence the cowboys and why they are wearing red. They are her eliding those two ideas of redlining in those towns and the cowboys. She made a series of extraordinary films during the lockdown [not] out yet.” Edited November 3, 2023 by Cbreezy
Mitsouko Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Still think we're getting a live album on Dec 3? 1
Blue Rose Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The Country influences are in the Renaissance visuals. It’s not a different album.

BGKC Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The Honey half is hitting today, if it wasn’t for Pure it would be a top 3 track on Ren that deserves to be 4 minutes as a stand alone track. Pure feels too unserious after so many listens imo. I still love it for the production though. 2
ScorpiosGroove Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Karen releasing a live album makes our chances of getting one even better at last she’s good for… something
