reported by the same source who got it wrong each time this era while the official description from Bey’s team doesn’t mention visuals anywhere

I'm thinking because of how many times she trademarked the word "Echoville", the visuals would be their own thing. I always thought she would create a movie with the visuals that would be bigger than a visaul album. . .not sure if anyone outside of Twitter would care with the way she has promoted this entire era. 

 

She should've released them on the anniversary or during the break in the tour and released it along side a Remix album, but that would've been too smart of a Mathew idea. The next obvious great date would be 12/13/23 to celebrate "BEYONCÉ" anniversary as her official thriving into long form visuals and her tired axx release strategy.

I'm with the Echoville visual theory only if it's more than "just" the Rennie songs. There has to be an element of the "new" with the visuals in general if she thinks of dropping them anytime after December. Combined visual for Acts 1 & 2, perhaps?

 

I don't think there will be any Dec 13 anniversary tie-in. Bey legit is modeling her latter career on Madonna in the sense that she seems to actively make a point of **not** looking back or overly acknowledging anniversaries. Her activity almost exclusively seems centered on whatever she has going on...now. 

 

And I love it because it keeps her career hot in the contemporary sense. The minute she starts leaning on nostalgia or past glories, she'll be expediting her transformation into a full-fledged legacy act.

Everytime I remember how bad the music in TLK was... I get mad again.

 

And tbh not even Can You Feel the Love Tonight (the only song with Beyoncé in it) is good. If I'm honest I don't even love the way Beyoncé chose to sing it, but give her the excuse that maybe she was trying to tone it down for Disney and Donald?

Why they never got Beyoncé, an actual visionary, to handle the production of the album vs. brining on Pharrell who hasn't really made anything groundbreaking since the 2000s in whatever attempt to make some Happy/kids-bopz version of the amazing original soundtrack is beyond me. And then that ugly Elton song at the end that (likely) kicked Spirit out of that spot, leading it to be hastily and poorly edited and chopped to fit into a Simba-runs-home scene?
