Neither of these outfits she wore were from the cities we know she filmed 🧐

That's because she filmed all cities.

that’s why i said the more you look at it the messier it gets

and no, homecoming’s yellow to pink was smooth af, this transition’s a lot more "forced" due to the morphing of 3 different shots (Amari fading in and out :rip:)

They have to smooth it out, it’ll be fine. We’ll *HOPEFULLY* have a better trailer by thanksgiving.

Did people think she was only filming a select few? They probably store all the live feed footage for the video screens somewhere

NYC Hive we meeting or is that cancelled

Why can't we just have separate recordings for a couple of shows?

Why is that so taboo?

:skull:

I don't like one show being a mix of multiple shows.

I’m excited to see the box score because the tickets are selling really well!

in the past it was weird sometimes, but now more than ever the combination of multiple shows highlights not only the multitude of fashion, but the meaning behind the tour and all the fans and energy given and taken. if this tour is meant to be a cultural moment, mixing many shows says that far more than just the presentation of one.

Cineplex in Canada (our largest theatre chain and the one that was announced in the press release for displaying the film here) still haven’t announced any showtimes :rip:

I’m going to guess they weren’t aware of the release and now are planning showtimes.

I wouldnt be surprised if the theater release is documentary style with concert footage mixed in. But then there will eventually be an uncut version of the show released to streaming.

I am mostly excited for the live album.

I don’t! I’m just going city by city looking at theatres and there several that are nearly sold out already.

If we do get a live album from this film, It’s farfetched but I would love the interludes to be included. At the bare minimum I need at least Loop the Sample:'(

Couldn’t make it all the way through the trailer,(Would it kill her to take a sip of water before recording her narration?) but do it he wristbands looks magical?!

@Cbreezy Your comment in the movie thread really resonated with me. I didn't want to discuss in there with the haters. However, maybe that's why I wasn't as moved by the trailer because it did come across as Homecoming 2.0 Something we've seen before, and Beyonce didn't  push the envelope with this moment she has.

I’m nervous cause she hasn’t been trending well. I remember lemonade era whenever Beyonce did anything it went #1 on twitter. This announcement peaked at #4 I think and currently out of the top 20. Some theaters she will do well, other locations I expect first day to do decent and it’ll flop after opening weekend. She better spill some good tea to get the media to get people in the theaters

They give a small poster in my local cinema if you buy The Eras Tour Movie tickets before it's release, so I was expecting something like this.

I kinda agree that the trailer isn't the most exciting on its own...

but I'm fully expecting her to go into detail about what happened with her foot (if anything did), or whatever else was the reason and inspiration behind BREAK MY SOUL. this woman went through something and we're still in the dark about it. I think it will be juicy, for sure.

which is why I really don't mind this having interviews and narration instead of a straight up concert film. I'm excited for the behind the scenes stuff just as much if not more than the performances. I've seen the tour twice, watched a million times. of course I want the live album and high quality performance videos, but for me HOMECOMING's top highlights were the interviews and documentary pieces. I've watched "Making of the Gift" more than BLACK IS KING.

This not even being on her FB is comedy cause promoting to your casual fans is THE best thing you can do for this type of thing. One IG post is cute but not gonna cut it. She should be SPAMMING the hell out of this for the next 2 months

I’ve been saying!!! No TikTok or twitter either.

Releasing AS video would be great promo as well since it’s utilized so much in the trailer. Could have been her David Bowie Starman signature song.

Yes I agree.

What was magical about Homecoming is when a performance segment ended you were like "oh wait!" and then when the following BTS segment ended, you were like "wait what!?"...she kept us wanting both, imo.

I'm not bothered by it seeming to follow this format either. I mean how else can you reinvent a concert documentary if not to combine BTS with the actual concert?

Unpopular opinion but I’m not itching for a live album for once. To me all the songs sound the same as the record but with live drum which did nothing for me. Most songs sound better in the studio this time around. Y’all especially hyped up Cozy for no reason. I do like the voguing music during the dancers segment “ARE YOU READY??!!!”
